Have a good show. Hope you guys have a great turnout, and sorry to hear about your label. But now it gives you an excuse to start up Pop Todd Records, and we'd be glad to sign with you.

In the passages (or phrases) that are different; there's a note or two (usually at the end) that is a different note than in the first passage. So for example; the first passage might be A, C, A... The next different passage is A, C#, A..

Wow you guys must be as bored as I am.

I think the Colbert performance last night was better... I really dig "You're Not Alone". Great tune.
-
I need to get his others as well. Melted is definitely not for the faint of heart.. lol But I love the noisiness and rawness of his sound. Great stuff.

Wow, thank you Moss. Our old guitar player (the one that left) plays on this album. He left shortly before it' completion, he did not play on the first track since it is the last one we recorded. It's unfortunate that he left because he is responsible for most of that feedback and lead work on the record. But I guess musicians come and go, and we are moving on now... We have a new guitar player who is also an excellent vocalist (if I'm not careful, he might steal my job.. lol), and we are looking forward to bringing in more vocal work into our music. No plans for a nationwide tour.. lol

The music might scare you as well.. I listened to it in my car yesterday, and my facial expressions went about like this: ......................................................... -
I liked him too... My favorite roaster is Jeff Ross but he was a close second. Funny guy, very sad...

You forgot about the enormous amounts of distortion over the entire mix... Incredibly raw, dirty album. Nearly every track kicks you in the face with a steel toed boot.. And I'm diggin it. -

I'm pretty sure you are familiar with these guys (and gals).... http://www.socalleds...days_Heroes.zip -
I know a few VCers have been asking about my bands new album. Well after a year of writing and recording, we finally finished! The album is available to download for free right now. I wouldn't have it any other way, especially for VCers. On this album, we got a little more adventurous while still keeping to our true sound.. Hope you enjoy and I'd love to hear your feedback of course. http://www.socalleds...days_Heroes.zip

Me neither. Facebook is completely taking over the internet. You can't go to any known website without seeing a "share this on facebook" link etc.

No sir. My name is Matt. Why do you ask?

Not really... But if it was, nobody would care. Myspace has become the ghetto of the interwebs. I'm glad to be witnessing the downfall of the once mighty Myspace.

Wow... Yeah.. It's still down. Crazyness.

Sorry for your loss.. My deepest sympathies and vibes go out to you and your family. When I'm feeling down, Emotionalism by The Avett Brothers is a great comfort album . There's just something about it that makes me smile every time, and I hope that it may do the same for you.

That's an awesome video. Old school.. I can remember when going to the Roller Skating Rink was still cool... Can't wait until they do their East Coast tour.

Breaking news: Lou Reed Snubs Susan Boyle!
lamradio replied to Magnetized's topic in Someone Else's Song
I agree with this whole heatedly. To me artists write and release music for their own enjoyment, but more importantly for others to enjoy. Even if someone like Susan Boyle covers it and according to the artist potentially "butchers it", there will be many others that enjoy the heck out of it. -
No camera phone pics to share? Yeah, I probably wouldn't have captured any either.. Would have been too busy saying "holy shit"..

Shortly after the camera went off, they broke into an acoustic version of "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" by The Dan Band.
