I'll have to second that. Is it just me, or does the tempo drag at times during that song? To me thats one of the reasons why its so great.

Happy birthday Sue!!
-
Wow, I had no idea that existed.. And I thought I've heard every Wilco song ever released. Thanks for that.
-
Yeah, shouting out a WILCO song would have been a little more appropriate. Even if it would be a great cover of a great song, its just a little insulting to shout out cover songs at a concert (unless its one they already play regularly)
-
Because he/she is a jackass. Steely Dan is amazing.. Not a band that I listen to regularly, but a band that I have a lot of respect for and are some of the greatest musicians in the world. And they are Berklee alumni, like myself.

Like I said, I think once Jeff saw that you guys were enjoying the show it was all in good fun. I thought the shirts were great.
-
Thats funny, because I totally got that vibe from Jeff the other night. I mean he was friendly, but he did seem kind of out of it. But I'm sure he was tired after playing a two hour show. Michael was very nice as well, and funny. I told him that they were VERY cool to walk out in the rain to meet fans.

The wife and I highly enjoyed the show. Yeah, I think the guy with the SNL shirt (sitting right next to us on the front row) pissed Jeff off slightly, but I think Jeff knew he was just joking around.. Especially when he appeared to be a super fan, dancing and singing to every song. The drunk guy that told the band to turn up, stood right in front of me when he said it, and I came very close to telling him to go sit down.. But he was probably the drunkest person there, and I'm sure he would have tried to fight me.. Then we both would have been thrown out. Also, there was a kid with a shi

Cool, we'll keep an eye out for it. Getting stoked, watching the Lollapalooza video right now. Great stuff!
-
I think we're gonna be able to make it in time to go to Wild Wings. Should be there between 5-5:30. Dark haired couple, drinking pitcher beer, I'll be wearing a black shirt, the wife will be wearing a black dress.. (no we aren't Goth.. lol)
-
Should be 8 PM. I'm getting there at 7 just in case Bon Iver starts early, but the venue said the show starts at 8 PM.
-
I still love my Pats (the team that everyone loves to hate) and I hope they win it all this season (regardless of how embarrassing it was to lose the last game last year).
-
Thanks for calling and sharing the info. I'm still going to show up by 7 (when the doors open), just in case Bon Iver plays earlier than 8. I don't want to miss him!
-
Fuck dude.. You didnt even get it right! AM BT ST YHF AGIB SBS
-
Well why don't you start a thread ranking the Wilco albums?
-
Interesting. Man, I really hope the Total Pros are going to be there. They really add some "balls" to the sound.

"Hey Lamrod, its watch me fall!" Thats pretty much what 3 Dollars and Sixty Three Cents did at the Nels Cline show. Yeah, we got the front row tickets using the Ticketmaster presale, not the Music Today (never had much luck with that). At first I kept getting balc seats, but after a few refreshes, the front row tickets showed up.. Woo hoo.
-
I hope we can too.. And yes, we'll be in seats 11 and 12 on the front row, to be exact. (hope I haven't pissed anyone off too bad on this board, now they would know where to find me )
-
I really hope we can make it in time. Our babysitter was supposed to keep the kids for the day, but now she's saying she may not be able to get them until 3, which means we would be arriving in Charleston just in time for the show. Unless we can find another babysitter which would mean we could meet up with you guys.

I'll have to check to see what the start time for Indy was.. Maybe it was 7.. But Bon Iver started at 7:15.. Sorry to confuse. Edit: According to this, Indy start time was 7:30, and Bon Iver started at 7:15.. So I'm confused now, so I guess I'll just make sure and be there by 7.
-
Do you mean you gave up pit tickets at a smashing pumpkins concert to see Wilco, or the other way around? I'm a huge fan of Bon Iver and I recommend you get there in time to see him. The show is at 8, but judging from the Indy show, Bon Iver will take the stage around 7:15 and Wilco around 8:15.
