Here is a good understanding of what a superdelegate is (from wikipedia): One thing that you have to remember is although Bernie Sanders is running for the Democratic Party's nomination for president, he is not a Democrat. He is an independent. The superdelegates are generally (not always) beholden to the Democratic Party and thus Debbie Wasserman Schultz and ultimately Clinton. That frankly was the most astounding part. Basically through the course they called Trump a cheat, liar, bigot, who will not only ruin the GOP, America itself. But he is better then Clinton/Sanders? So it was just theatre. Spineless, all spineless.

I think the Cubs are going to fail train is in fuller swing. I have heard more about how the cubs are fizzle, or fall below expectations, etc. then I have heard World Series talk. But the World Series talk is actually based upon facts and the fact that the team looks really really good, whereas the Cubs' failure talk is based upon a dislike for the team or some weird superstition or something, not necessarily based on fact.

But as a conservative, is the notion of a Trump presidency worse than Clinton or Sanders presidency? Because when it comes down to it, if Trump is the GOP nominee, unless conservatives / establishment Republicans vote for him, Clinton or Sanders will be the next president. A third party vote will not get a conversative in the White House, a stay a home vote will not get a conservative in the White House. My understanding is that your entire district (or those who want their voice heard) go to a public place (school gym) and then people give speeches etc. about specific candidates. Once that is done people who like the same candidate group together and are counted. The candidate with the most people win that district. The winner of the most districts wins the state (and or delegates). Wisconsin is a primary state, so I have never done one. Why would Trump choose someone who is not eligible to be president (his words not mine) as VP? Also I think Trump real dislikes Cruz. Of course I think everyone dislikes Cruz. If anything he would probably pick a woman, to soften his misogynistic side and to take away votes from Hillary. absolutely correct, like I mentioned things could change. Bernie could still win the nomination, but the road he has to take and the states he has to win make it a lot tougher for him. I just don't see the southern states and the African American votes going his way. He really needed to win Nevada and because of his loss (as narrow as it was) it hurt him. Is it inevitable that Clinton wins the nomination, of course not. Is it increasingly likely, yes.
