Thanks for the link. I saw the setlist on Reveille, but pics of D. Murphy are always nice.

Yeah, MT freaks me out with tickets.... And we got the print-your-own tickets through ticketmaster and have 10 separate tickets, which is nice since I can't be there Mon and Tues.

I agree. His voice is sublime right now. -
SHUT UP!! Damn. Last time I saw Tweedy with GS was across the street. Wow. I hope someone tapes that!

Happy Birthday, Analogman. I hope I get to meet you one day!

That's interesting. I initially thought I liked track 1 best, but now I really like DC Blues.

Yeah, it's not bad. I am a huge Jayhawks fan, and I heard a torrent of Louris performing most of the songs solo in Paris. It was not good, although when I posted that here, those who responded disagreed. The studio versions are much better IMO, but the lyrics just don't do it for me on most of the songs. Some of them make me cringe, even. But I'll still go see him, and I'm curious about the Louris/Olson stuff to come. And I was pretty slow on the picture of leeks in the first post. Wow.

These are great, thanks! Although you do have 1/23/07 in your tags vs. 1/26/08. Just sayin'.

JT: "god, no...no, we're just leaving." Girl(s): "So are you still doing the 'music thing'?" JT says yes, still doing music. "Aw, that's great." Basically they were really patronizing. At this point, Spencer is getting pissed at their lack of being impr

Once he asked if anyone in the audience was going to be at the residency... and he got lots of hoots and hollers. But that was it.

Eh, don't sweat it. He was in good spirits.

I can't WAIT to hear this one!

Glad you could sell your ticket Edie, and it was nice to meet you. He really had Uncle Tupelo on the brain last night, suggesting that if all of us at the show who claimed to be UT fans had been as vocal back then, perhaps they would still be together.

Happy Birthday! Hope they're outstanding!

It was a great show, nice meeting some folks from VC as well other great people in line. Can't wait for the residency.

Happy Bday!

That's one of the nicest things I've heard in a long time. Truly--that's a generous move.

I'm cursing like a sailor. Getting the coin toss is only good if you can actually SCORE when you get the ball. Jesus.

But honestly... a year sounds like eternity right now. But at least we have 7 behind us.
