Gonna put on record that these shows contain some of the best california stars ever. My alltime fav is from a living room show, don't remember which one it is but I believe jeff ditches the mic or something, so its like one big sing-a-long

someone mentioned the jon stewart opening to his first show back, this was letterman's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xut56q77GK0...feature=related figured id throw it out there

same here, i remember being in the 8th grade (our final year of middle school) and the school decided not tell us what was going on until about 1hr before classes ended (probably because there were 6th and 7th graders around). Its nuts to think that 8th graders now were so young on 9/11. I remember a girl in my italian class saying her dad had work that day in one of the towers, and for whatever reason he decided to take a sick day and play golf. Thoughts and prayers for anyone who lost someone on that day, or for anyone who has ties to the military

no offense, cause i could be very wrong, but were is this 10billion a day coming from. Ive heard over the course of today......1 trillion per week, 80 billion per month and 10 billion today, just curious of were these numbers come from

I say Ive averaged 2 albums downloaded a year (illegally that is). But once I download them I end up buying them, I like having the actually media that goes along with it. I do however have tons of live shows from my fav bands, but those are legal. I often borrow cds from friends and put em on my itunes though, I guess that would be considered frowned apon.

Is that what they were chanting? Everytime I hear a chant I just assume its "yankees suck"

I'd recomend the permit, at least in RI anyways they get shut down, the real question is who are the losers who call up and report the non permit yardsalees? Anyways, your allowed 2 yardsales a year, once you have the 3rd you become a vendor, so if your planning on having 3 don't ever get permits. (I am almost positive they are free, at least here)

I LOVE it when shirts run small, and these do. I am a tall guy who fits in a large, but needs them a bit longer, so these kinda snug wilco shirts fit great. But I have only worn the longsleeve ones (plus I got it at a concert not the site)

Does anyone have an idea of what price range we will be looking at for the MSG show?

Ive actually left an allman brothers show early. The 2007 newport folk fest had a great lineup, and by the time the allman bros came on to close our group was so tired. We were also really sunburnt. There was not a sun in the sky that day, and the heat plus the sunburn was enough for us to call it quits. We saw about 10 songs and during the weight we decided to hang out and tough it out, unless a jam heavy song came up. The next song was mountain jam so we left

Remember this.... http://images.usatoday.com/sports/baseball...inside-base.jpg If that idea went through, I might have just given up on Western society and skipped town, live on an island somewhere.

agreed, Boston worcester That venue sucks though, too bad they are not playing the TD Banknorth Garden. I am beyond pumped for the MSG show, my school in NY has winter break on the 19th so it looks like Ill get to witness Wilco/Neil at the best venue ever!

Went to visit family in Midland Texas, at their Starbucks I heard some Sky Blue Sky. In related Midland/Wilco news, there is a building there called the Wilco Building, seeing it on a sign cracked me up

See, thats why a Wilco & DMB fan is way better than a DMB fan (who either does not like Wilco or has yet to be exposed). I have experienced, on many* occasions, insane frustration while talking to some of my DMB friends. The type of people who have never heard the talking heads or that song, but because DMB covers it the song becomes great. I mentioned how much fun farm aid will be this year to somebody, and he said the only Neil Young song he has ever heard was Down By The River (but not Neil's version either just Dave's) *And on a side note when i typed "on many occasions", i origi

A few days ago I was listening to the whitesox/redsox game on weei. I believe during the pregame I heard some Wilco as background music before a commercial. I forgot what song it was though (for some reason I think it was When The Roses Bloom Again). It makes sense with the games being in Chicago
