  1. one interesting thing about the timing of this... Mac OSX Leopard is being released on Friday and would have been one of the biggest/most seeded torrents in that site's history i'd imagine
  2. no shit. i'd never use any P2P apps these days...
  3. i'd say that as long as you never were an initial uploader of a torrent you have little to worry about...
  4. i loved Veni Vidi Vicious and Barely Legal, haven't dug much since besides a couple tracks here and there.
  5. yeah, there's a few great tracks on there. certainly better than that last piece of shit anyway. some of it is just so overblown and over the top though, not really rewarding of a number of listens because of it for me.
  6. i did not get into that one too much at all Faces Down was the one that hooked me first though, so i'm definitely biased. I thought his last one was much better than 2 Way, but the one in between that is prolly my least fave.
  7. his first record, Faces Down, is still my fave, i'd start w/ that one
  8. yeah i loved that flashing marquee too!
  9. i love Dan and i love destroyer for the most part, but his songs aren't usually my favorite NP tracks (w/ the exception of Myriad Harbor and Jackie)
  10. seeing him next Friday (maybe Thursday in Eau Claire too )
  11. definitely the best of the 3x i've seen them only thing i would have enjoyed more from the setlist would have been From Blown Speakers, which i tried for during the request for requests setlist went something like this: Mutiny, I Promise You Use It Myriad Harbor All The Old Showstoppers My Rights Versus Yours Challengers The Spirit Of Giving All The Things That Go To Make Heaven And Earth Unguided Jackie, Dressed In Cobras These Are the Fables The Laws Have Changed Twin Cinema Mass Romantic Electric Version Sing Me Spanish Techno The Bleeding Heart Show Encore: Execution Day The Bo
  12. Joe is great! was a bit unsure when he joined my beloved Guster at first, but now I can hardly picture seeing them without him. and yeah, his solo stuff is fantastic.
  13. this is my 2nd fave Neil record post '00. now to some that's not saying a lot, fine. i doubt he'll touch Silver & Gold for me anytime soon in terms of post '00 work, but this is a really enjoyable listen for me. not without flaws, no. hardly any Neil record (especially post '90's) is. but it's strengths far outweigh it's negatives here. i did really enjoy Greendale musically (despite the hokey story and lyrics) a LOT (Bandit is one of my fave Neil songs ever), enjoyed LWW for what it was (and musically ADORED 4 or 5 songs on there), and grew to love Prairie Wind due to Heart of Gold.
  14. *nod* it got brought up a few times when the album came out
  15. not really no not sure what you heard i guess
  16. Dirty Old Man? off his new one?
  17. get the win streak out of the way so that they can just focus on the WS
