  1. Looks like someone ordered a Grande Sass-o-ccino this morning.
  2. Please elaborate, I don't feel like working today.
  3. They have a couple really catchy songs that I like hearing every 5 years or so.

  6. So it's groundbreaking because a poetry journal said it was? Sorry...Dylan could very well be doing lyrical things you and others find interesting. He may also be taking a completely original approach to writing lyrics which would be breaking new ground (although it is certainly possible other lyricists have done something similar and just haven't had the profile Bob Dylan has). I didn't get that, partially because I'm not all that smart and would never gotten the references, and partially because the actual music being played (including the vocal instrument) really kinda bored me. I'l
  7. So it's groundbreaking because he borrowed lyrics and because Rolling Stone said it was? P.S. I only skimmed through half of the article.
  8. You know what would be kinda cool? A cable channel devoted to showing promotional music video clips by a wide variety of artists, past and present.
  9. I don't think I've heard Love and Theft, but I've listened to Modern Times a bunch. What new ground is being broken with that album?
  10. AM was definitely relevant in 1995...and don't call me Shirley.
  11. You don't like me because I'm dangerous?
  12. Lisa Marr sure is a hell of a lot cuter than either of those John dudes.
  13. I neglected to mention the best one out there: "New York's Alright If You Like Saxophones", by the mighty Fear.
  14. Is that Guy from Fugazi dressed as a bird in your avatar?
  15. I've gone back in time, to a simpler and happier place. I might even Wang Chung tonight.
  16. There is certainly a place in the world for songs like "Why Can't This Be Love?" And that would be a high school dance in 1986.
  17. Unfortunately, I know 5 to 7% less about music than you originally thought.
  18. 99% maybe. I own 4 cds... Sky Blue Sky A Ghost is Born Straight to Hell soundtrack Photographs and Memories - Jim Croce's Greatest Hits I've never heard of any of those dudes you mentioned.
  19. I hope Wolfgang can hit Michael Anthony's high notes. And nobody breaks a hip.
  20. My understanding is that he was banned for a couple of years for being a total dick. I still hear from him on IM occassionally. He's moved to Toledo now, where he has married his high school sweetheart, Delilah. They now have 3 sons and Ron is Assistant to the GM at the local Chrysler dealership. He hopes to someday earn enough money to buy a small Boston Whaler and to begin to bass fish professionally. He's also still a dick.
  21. Although I'm usually down with any opportunity to belittle my doppleganger, I feel in this case I must point out the obvious...that the First Ammendment does not guarantee a person any freedoms of expression on a privately owned and operated semi-obscure former alt-country band's unofficial message board. Oh yeah, and the other fat.boy is in his mid to late 40's now, I think, which by my calculations makes him older than WhatLight?
  22. Appreciated. Although to be honest, I'm only even vaguely aware of who this is...
