  1. Hüsker Dü was the first one that came to mind. I see that it made your list, too. Of the ones that you did not list: XTC From what I've read, they are seem a little bit settled into domestic-type lifestyle. And the money just wouldn't be big enough for a cult band like this to get back together so that they could pay the bills. The Happy Mondays Are they all even still alive? I'd be surprised if they were. But, even if they were, that is just one fucked up group of people, there. No way. Maybe they would make an announcement, but it would never actually come to fruition. Maybe I'll think
  2. Chicago Blackhawks' playoffs run. They're starting to pull it together, I think.
  3. Been curious about this band, but nothing that I've heard has really grabbed me the way that I hoped it would. Still, gonna keep giving them a change and hopefully it'll get it's hooks into me one day.
  4. Interesting question. From what I can see at this point, the most-likely candidate: Pharrell And, maybe Arcade Fire.
  5. I saw them on Halloween, 1989 at the old Blue Note location -- opening for fIREHOSE. Were you there for that one? Are you still even on the boards here?
  6. So, yeah. Finished that Holly record and I'm on to:
  7. Because the ground is breaking and swallowing that word "groundbreaking?"
  8. These are, in fact, the albums that I have listened to since getting in to work at 6 this morning. (The Holly & the Italians one is still playing.) I work at a desk job that allows me to listen as I work, so I do get a lot of music in during the day, yes. And then more in the car on the way home. I'll be posting more today, as I listen to more. Should be able to get in another 2 or 3 albums.
  9. No he's not! http://www.roywood.co.uk Who the hell you thinking of?
  10. Why hasn't Roy Wood released anything in years? C'mon Roy!
  11. Good Vibrations - Beach Boys Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix Experience Rocket 88 - Jackie Breston A Day in the Life - The Beatles Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry and, probably something by Ray Charles.
  12. Friend of mine wanted to cover it in my old punk band. Never did it, though.
  13. Oooh! Good one, but I would go with "Free-For All" as my Nuge jam.
  14. Really? You don't like The Kinks? I mean, that's fine. Just… hard for me to comprehend.
