I am going to apply to volunteer...I must be on drugs! Anyone have any idea it costs for the whole festival..in case i don't get to volunteer?

A little side bar here..was listening to Sound Opinions from 2 weeks ago..and the guys talked about the different candidates and the songs they play on their campaign...and apparently a few songs have been written for Obama by Will.I.Am as well as a video or two you can find on you tube. They even gave the 1-800 number out and told the other candidates they should call for song ideas

Just finished reading A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray..It's a young adult fiction book...really enjoyed it and now am going to buy the next 2 in the trilogy. We should start swapping books on here then everyone would get to read the books that others recommend

hehe...i spent a while looking for hotels where you recommended looking...it was hard for hotels.com to get me ones in illinois...they kept trying to get me in MO for $30-40 more a night...erm NO...lol and then i went on the baymont site and of course its less on their own website because hotels.com pays fees so you are charged those fees too!

I just booked in at the Baymont Inn & Suites..I have stayed with them before...not this location though and it's in Fairview Heights...and decently priced! Sweet...a train not having to worry about finding the Pageant then while driving around...how late is the train Poppy? I'm still coming for the art show as well, right after I eat my waffles in the breakfast room of the hotel.

If you are seriously considering a tv at Best Buy...and you are nice to your sales person you can ask them to hook up a dvd player and ask them to show you a movie that has different graphics in it..they should be able to do that for you so you can see specific features...and see how high the quality is. I know currently in my store they show parts of Lipstick Jungle..which i walked by several times today and kept thinking it really looked like they were right in the store...as well as a part of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie..which shows you their skin close up and it's sorta scary to me

The only minor inconvience I see is that I paid nearly $7 more on ticketmaster for the same show in St. Louis..because they have more fees then Musictoday....why is that?!

Honestly you must be about the only 2 people on the planet that don't want a Wii.
