I just started: oo do let us know how this turns out?

I woke up for it..and I grumbled at it that I wished it would just stop so I could go back to sleep. I thought it was the wind being really strong, since it had been storming here, and wondered if it was an earthquake, but thought I was just being silly. I did miss the one at 10:15 or whenever it was as I was at work and didn't feel it. My boss however, missed both, as she lives in Iowa, we figured maybe the river was what stopped it.

I was a Nike fan..but kept having problems with the cushy part stop being cushy after not so long...so now I'm on a pair of Saucony's. They rock and I love wearing them.

I know Ringo Starr has money up the bum but NOONE should have allowed him to sing and go solo..he sucks...i saw him on Rachael Ray and wanted to hurl. Course they may also have had to do with seeing Rachael bouncing with a drug induced looking grin on her face..nothing against her personally..i do listen to her at work on the radio (tv channel broadcasts locally on radio)...but Rino was best playing drums and not singing...

I just finished on Sunday night...bad idea to stay up late finishing a book and then get up at 5 for work...But it's the 1st in a series...its young adult and a tale about a young princess but is probably a bit more of a realistic story about what happens to her...I really enjoyed it and I was glad I had already bought the 2nd book. Now I'm about to start

My posters arrived today It was the first thing I did when I came home to open them and look closely at them...then put them back in the tube so I don't ruin them before i attempt to get them signed Thank You Thank You Thank You John!!!! Your posters rock more to actually see and hold then they do online!! lol

Unfortunately because they are a bunch of goons..they have scaled back on their music in most places. I wonder if it would change if customers called in and did the survey and said they miss the music, etc. In fact I highly push you to tell them what you think. Do that here or email them at ccare@bordersstores.com. Heck if everyone on here emails them they'd hopefully get it that people want more music!

I don't think it's actually a 'sketch' but I loved and miss the Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy. Those things rocked SNL back in the day when SNL had good sketches!

i think it works on some songs..like those that are more classical or something that makes you wanna cry..and ends calmly. But it doesn't work on more rock-y type songs.

Oh, thanks! I haven't been up there. I just know that they have 'Borders Live at 01' ..and I thought for some reason corp was with the actual store...like right next to each other. Sorry for the bad info. Yeah I knew about the new format...and to be totally realistic after working at Borders for 2 years and having a LOT of issues with the listening stations alone, I'm not sure how long they really think those computers will last, that are supposed to allow you to burn cd's, as well as the scrapbooking/photo stations. Plus it's going to be a pain since everyone would have to be trained to

If you like books you could go to Borders there...its the flagship store (where the corporate office is and they host a lot of famous writers/artists there and video them for the website. I think they also test out new ideas in that stores location. (this comes from a former employee)

I recall someone, not sure who, stating back in Feb? that we would be surprised to find out who they truly were. So I wonder what Jeff thinks now to find out Ken is on here...after he told us we needed to find something better to do with our time!

I don't download it..usually what happens is people burn copies for me of their stuff so I can get an idea of what I like...but there are a few I need to get around to actually buying so I'd own them and not just have copies.

Tonight it was $3.14 at the station near work..but other gas stations locally are up to $3.25(including the station 2 blocks to the east of the station I filled up at tonight). It really depends on where you go in the area. I forgot, I drive about 25 miles to town to work...so that's 50 miles a day and I go through about a tank per week.
