There is a way to unlock your ipod and then copy all your files off it onto your harddrive. I dont believe it takes a program. I looked around for a while online before I found a place that talks about it...i'll try to find it for you. It was a matter of opening it from My Computer and then going through the drive that the ipod shows up on..not sure how that translates on a macbook...hmm but let me see if i can figure it out.

For hotels in Chicago... If you are going to be up near Lincoln Park I recommend the Days Inn Lincoln Park. It's pretty secure, they have a good breakfast, an internet computer in the lobby, and you have to use your room key to get into the elevator The rooms are clean and pretty good size, and I think there was a fridge in our room which is always handy. If you are going to stay downtown check out Hotels.com Three Dollars and I got a room using that and we saved tons of money plus the hotel was 4 star and right on the river. We were able to walk all over, and the free trolley stopped

Ordered this Xiu Xiu cd last week and it arrived today along with the Jim Carroll cd Yay for more music.

He is playing not his son's band. I know this because Lolla must not have updated their site before I saw Wilco in StL and I mentioned that it would be neat to see his son's band to which he replied that Spencer's band wasn't playing at Lolla this year. So definitely just Jeff

You should read the book Learning How to Die...it talks about who plays what songs on what albums...its pretty interesting and you learn a bit about how the songs were created
