Hollinger, It would be cool to meet up with you at the show Where are you sitting? I'm in Section B, Row G...seat 8 I think! Thanks for the info on the venue. I asked a friend about it but he hadn't been there yet either. If you are able to download torrents, you can get some Andrew Bird music from here. Or you can check out Daytrotter, which is run by some local guys, there are 4 songs on here..I think you can also hear some of his music on his website possibly. Hope you pick up some of that and enjoy it Maybe someone else will have some suggestions as to where you can hear h

Just wondered who was going to see Andrew on his tour? I am going to the Des Moines show at the end of February. Anyone else going to this or other shows...

I admit I'm tired so I skimmed most of this... Info for you to know which I hope I'm not restating... Keep your Xbox in a cool area where air can travel, I mean do not put it in an entertainment center surrounded by 3 walls with no circulation. The internal fans suck hence the red ring of death. If you have the cash buy an Intercooler (thats the actual name) it, which sorta clips on the back and gives you an extra bit of cooling. I've also had customers tell me they put a house fan behind their entertainment center (one with no back) and that worked pretty good. Hope that helps. Forg

Thanks for starting the topic ELS...I'm trying to figure out if I should buy a ticket...but I'm not sure who lives near me and is also thinking of/is going so we could carpool. I live in the Quad Cities. Am willing to drive, would be happier to go with another person.

I tried something at a friends house by her recommendation, and it was one of those Homedics massage things that you set on a chair...and it had a massager and heater in it. The chair it was on was one that you could tilt back like a laz-e-boy recliner. I started off with the massage part everywhere but the highest part of my back/neck and had the heat on. I also had a cold wet washcloth on my eyes/forehead and took my meds and I felt better quicker then I normally do. I need to buy one of those things. The vibration sounds different as it goes up and down, I had it set on where it went b

What's the price of gas where you are?
VenusStopsTrain2 replied to Twisted Acres's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Same goes for me...it's always that much cheaper in Cedar Rapids then the Quad Cities and I'm addicted to a gas map thing on the tv station here. -
You crack me up Kidsmoke!! Glad to see you posting What if you popped the jewel case open and unattached that end and then turned it so it was in there the right way. Most of those jewel case papers are perforated...wouldn't that fix your problem?

Tonight I was watching Private Practice and at the end for the last few minutes they played 'On and On and On' which was great Perfect for the scene. Anyone else hear Wilco songs on tv/movies lately?

I'm still keen on reading any of the Jodi Picoult books...they are a challenge to your thoughts on situations that you could find yourself in and not know how you'd deal with it til that moment...I know Kidsmoke will agree... I am still enjoying The Devil in the White City...I have had issues with a crazy work schedule but I'm hoping to finish it really soon!

If this wasn't in between my going to Des Moines this weekend and 6 Flags the weekend after..I'd totally come up for that show. I've been waiting for ages to see them play. -
i'll try not to eat it. so I added the suggested apps plus Hangman and Sudoku. I worked on my contacts, had issues pulling it in from Outlook so ended up typing all the numbers in after outlook only sent the names across.

What is Pandora? I've heard of it but don't know how it's used. I use MSN, AIM and Skype. I was hoping to find Skype but didn't. Thanks for the tips on the zooming I'll try that I haven't taken any photos yet, only turned on the camera in the store and haven't since I came home.

Thanks Been sitting here and trying to learn to use it. Just remembered you can turn it sideways to see the screen better...and accidentally zoomed in but not sure how I did it! Just added Facebook and Twitter apps..trying to figure out other ones to add. Thanks for the tip!

VC Book Club: Devil in the White City
VenusStopsTrain2 replied to gogo's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Ok I misread so I have part 1 done..but I'm reading as much as possible daily to try to catch up..plus this is an interesting book so it's not too hard. 1. No I find the historical parts of this book to be quite interesting and I like that he quotes things that were documented. I'm still trying to figure out where he got some quotes from...anyone know what Ibid means? I like that he weaves the story with as much history as possible but gets into their heads to tell the stories. It's easier to follow and it makes it not seem so dry. 2. No not to keep them interesting as well as allowing
