I was seriously considering the 'Roo this year (I am a total festival whore) but this lineup just doesn't do it for me. The headliners aren't anything special, and the middle tier acts will be playing every other festival (or coming through Chicago) this summer. I love Pearl Jam, but I've seen them a million times, and I'd rather see Kanye on the Glow in the Dark tour. And Metallica? Seriously? Eh.

Apparently they come on vinyl too... oof.

It was aight (and it was sold out, after all). I never saw them back in the day, so it was cool to hear the old stuff off Big Red Letter Day. I'm not such a fan of the new stuff, but it sounded solid (if a little low energy). Bill Janovitz still has the goods.

Aw, cool to see a review of the show. I wanted to go, but ended up seeing Buffalo Tom instead. Did he play anything off Trampoline? That's one of my favorite records of all time. And it's nice to see an endorsement of his new record; I'll have to check that out. I thought Joe Henry was from the Detroit area originally?

Cosign. I might go because I adore Neko in any setting, but I'm really going to miss the Bejar songs.

Pneumonia is one of my favorite front-to-back discs. So amazing. Aquarium Drunkard has some tracks posted from the unreleased Those Weren't the Days which are worth a listen.
