  1. I have the "Speak into the Rose" 10" and the alt version of Art of Almost is on there. Definitely not "completely different". I wonder if there's another version floating around.
  2. MMJ are my favorite band. That being said, I think the Whole Love is far and away a better album than Circuital, and Circuital is obviously (to me) better than Evil Urges. I rarely get the urge to listen to EU anymore, but still regularly listen to certain tracks off Circuital (live versions, at least).
  3. Cannot wait to hear this album. I was lucky enough to see these guys last Tuesday at a tiny divebar in Philly for $10. About 120 people there.... probably the show of the year for me.
  4. Sorry to bump such an old thread. I've purchased the "I Might" single, TWL on vinyl, and SITR 10". I'm a completist (and I love this album's artwork) so I'm thinking about purchasing the deluxe version of the CD. Could someone fill me in about that "52 page booklet" that comes with it?
  5. Kind of bummed out... I was hoping to grab a ticket and make a trip out of it. I live in Philadelphia and they didn't stop here
  6. Cool news about the DVD. Although I hope to see some video from the 2/23/08 show at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA. That was my first Wilco show.
  7. Perfect example of both would be the Florida Marlins. 2 rings already, but refuse to spend money to bring in free agents. And don't get me started on that stadium situation.
  8. Glad to see the Cards get a good deal. Strange to see my Phillies make an offer to Lowe but not to Moyer at this point.
  9. That will get you 2 out of my cooler.
  10. Wilco had it coming... Jeff called them "Poo Fighters" and "neanderthals" in Upper Darby in February
  11. what time did you get in line? I'm trying to figure out when I should arrive to the venue for the Phila. show.
  12. McFadden's at Citizens Bank Park is right across the street and a good place to grab a burger and a beer.
  13. This will be my 3rd time seeing Wilco, 1st seeing Neil. Me and my friend have GA tickets, just wondering what time everybody else was thinking of getting there and getting in line.
  14. If you really care and did your research you shouldn't need that kick in the pants. Shouldn't the economy/war/housing market/etc be a kick in the pants enough?
  15. Stadium Holiday Inn is right across the street from the venue. Nothing to do in that area of the city though except all the stadiums, oh and strip clubs. The Loews hotel downtown is very nice, and there's plenty to do there. Theres a couple of places on the waterfront that are nice too, the Hyatt Regency I think it is.
  16. Crazy. My last finals for the semester are the day before, thankfully. I better pack some gloves. I've spoiled myself so bad this year its not even funny. I've seen My Morning Jacket 4 times this year, 3 times from the front row. I also saw Wilco from the front row at Delaware.
  17. I wonder how early the people with GA tickets will show up at the venue in December. I plan on trying to get in the very front, but damn its gonna be a cold, long day waiting at the door.
  18. GA floor is exactly that... general admission. I don't know what's so confusing about that. I'm assuming the 200-some dollar expensive seats are those on either side of the stage in the first level.
  19. same here... if GA are $75 I'll go with them. If not, the $68 tickets look fine.
  20. for those who got tickets... are the GA floor tickets $75? Where are the dreaded $250 tickets?
  21. Wow... where/how did you meet everybody?
