  2. Thanks,my brother. Without question, my friend. After an elongated, protruded, and spirited negotiation, I allowed them to bring me on board with the caveat that I would be in the Berkshires from TUE 6/20 to MON 6/26. There may have been some mewling, pleading, begging, and forward promises ( "i will NOT ask again for the next 23 1/2 months"), so, yeah. Mags and I will be back for our third- staying in southern VT with agroovy little pad overlooking Williamsomething lake. Or river. Whatever..WILCO. Can Not Wait to see you, my friend. i swear i wont aask again for alm

  8. Great news- woke up to an email announcing a show in Harrisburg, PA on 4/29 - about 1/2 an hour up the road. Got two great 2nd row mezzanine seats center in the artist pre-sale this morning. I believe the capacity for the Whitaker Center Theater is 700. WOOHOO

  10. And this: face opener kinda took me offf my skis ( ski?) Crowd warm willing. Met some super nice people in the lobby. Very pro-crutch courtesy. Which i happen to be a recent proponent of. Love love love: NAK. live, from the heart, and just maybe right between the eyes of my map/path wheelhouse

  12. Now THAT is a great review. Well done, unified. Full disclosure: I was in second row and FALSELY ACCUSED of having a vanity crutch on my person. A wonderful night, a wonderful crowd, a wonderful theater, and a wonderful Wilco. A great night with my son! Excited for tonight- in Row J ORCH. Crutch intact.
  13. that OrangeBoy is getting backed into a corner- move by step by move by , until... check.. Checkmate. Czechmate? visions of the when the pac-man runs out of escape chutes (Gluggle gluggle gluggle sound effects). and then what (gulp). i don't have the stomach for this pray for the misbegotten, move your feet, shout from your toes let's not repeat the (recent) past of history. i don't have the stomach for this.
  14. Past excited for the next two Beacon nights! Missed Winterlude due to a Bull Black Buick, but I will have my reward in NY. BB Orch with my very tall Greenwich son tmrw ( apologies in advance to CC folks). Wed Orch J solo. First shows since Philly last summer, and last until SS. I'll be pro stand/pro crutch/ pro wild applause for those keeping count. Can Not Wait.
  15. Today, I limped into a job interview that I thought went really well. Fingers crossed!
  16. sorry- should have had thread closed - plans unexpectedly changed!
  17. It looks like my Winterlude plans are dashed: yesterday a 91 year old driving a Buick decided to hit me during a run in broad daylight yesterday. Thankfully it wasn't far from my house and I only suffered a fractured fibula, and bruises and cuts from head to toe. Could have been much much worse, so I'm counting my blessings. I had hotel and flight booked, lucky they are both refundable- hadn't pulled the trigger yet for tickets. Hopefully will be good to go for the Beacon. Ouchie.
  18. I'm in for tues/ Wed Beacon and Wed/Thu Chicago (still haven't locked down singles for Chicago////
  19. Hi Gang! Looking forward to my first Chicago shows. I'm all set: hotel, flight, ummm, what am I forgetting???? Shoot, I don't have a ticket to the show(s)... If anyone has any insight to a single shaking loose for Wed and Thu, please do not hesitate to PM me at this site. Thank You, Friends Fingers crossed!!!!
  20. Dang, hinko, those hotel prices are very manageable. I'm getting an itch and my schedule is open for Wed and Thu, flights are reasonable......now I just need to get my hands on a decent single for both nights and I'm there!!!!
  21. Lonely Boy" from Boogie Nights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uri-4O29S0w hell, most of the music in that film {Mama Told me not to Come, fooled Around and Fell in Love) Also, love the music from Magnolia - big fan of PTA and Brion collaborations. Special mention for Beck from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Everybodys Gotta Learn Sometime?)
