Second one that popped into my head (first one tonight): "Quinn the Eskimo"
-
First one that comes to mind is "Blinded by the Light."

Was lucky to get two orchestra center BB for Tuesday night around the 10:35. Never ever had this kind of luck. Shooting for a single for Wed this Friday. I am smiling wide.

Well said, but not clear on that last sentence, cause, I don't know. For the record: we had bagels and strawberries for breakfast. And I'm pretty sure my hug was a little stronger before my kid walked off to school. Nothing wrong with that- hell, she's the future.

Ok ok, let's pull ourselves from the ledge and pick ourselves.. Bootstraps, etc. The people have voted, and the majority of the vote makes me sick, too. My daughter asked me at dinner, "what would you do if Trump actually won?" I replied, "I will respect the voice of the people, and be grateful that I live in a democracy." I did not expect to have to eat my words. My true belief is that the successful or less than successful outcome of the advancement of my life should not not and will not be dependent on the person in the White House. Yes, I'm disappointed (and maybe drinking!). But

EDIT: not a ford fairlane- it was a Galaxie 500. One time I left it overnight at a Spectrum dead show with the keys in the door at the public park across from the venue (shakedown street). It was intact the next day. This topic is making many driving fool stories come rushing back- too funny.

I had a Ford Fairlane too in primer black. I bought it from a guy nicknamed Bluto for $100. that car was a tank. Also : Agree: - turn signals are not in vogue, and seems to be working closely with late braking - Not many do the wave when you do something unselfish on the road. All I want is a freaking wave. - texting or just staring at phone- don't get me started. - making sure if i drive like a little fool (or slightly foolish), making a point to signal mea culpa asap to other driver. OK I'm done...

haha- quoting myself- Cowboys are looking like the real deal and the Eagles are looking like, well, the Eagles...... I do believe the game is starting to become unwatchable - the refs are worse every year, and the games are interminably long.Maybe because i'm getting older... maybe it's because I'm an Eagles fan. I used to watch a lot of pro football, now mostly just the Eagles, and transitioning interest towards the college game for the last couple of years.

Great topic! One comes to mind: While borrowing my mom's Chevy Citation (hey-yo!) and taking some time off from college, I was on my way to work at a restaurant/ golf club. I was very broke at the time, living with my folks, and eagerly awaiting my first paycheck, as the company paid on a bi- weekly basis, and I had been working close to 3 weeks without seeing a dime. As i climbed the pretty steep hill in the early morning hours, i spaced out fiddling with the A/C and smacked gently into the back of a trash truck lumbering up the hill and making a left turn into a neighboring restaurant.
