  1. If they are still available, I'll take them.
  2. There's a David Lindley show from 5/22/15 that sounds pretty good from what I've heard. Just DL'd a Joe Ely show from 6/3/15 that is very good.
  3. Shortest 20 miles to Popejoy Hall in Albuquerque Longest ~2400 miles to N. Adams The nice thing after reading through this thread is that Wilco continues to remain accessible to the people by playing medium and even small venues and markets, So many bands with the popularity of Wilco just skip backwater spots and play the major cities.

  7. I've driven many times from Albuquerque and from South Carolina to that area, I grew up near Albany, NY. If you're coming up I-95 it can get hairy through NJ, but I haven't driven that way since the 80's, no idea how the drive is anymore. A 14 hour drive is about my max anymore for a single day if I'm alone, with 2 drivers going longer isn't a problem, just rest when you get bleary.
  8. Are you driving or flying? If you're flying I would fly into Albany, NY and rent a car, it's only an hour or so to N. Adams and the drive is nice.
  9. It was the first SSF when they played Say You Miss Me during sound check.

  11. It was a great show, what did you expect? My wife and I met up with BillyDee from CO before the show for some food and beers, Bill is a great guy who has been taping Wilco and many other bands for years, so you can expect a nice recording of both the Minus-5 & Tweedy. Jeff was pretty quiet for the first 4 or 5 songs and then got real chatty, lots of high altitude jokes, Santa Fe is at 7500', jokes about the age of the audience (old) and New Mexico green and red chile, you'll get to hear it on the recording Here's the set list from Stan, they may have deviated from this, and I can't
  12. Very nice. http://www.npr.org/2015/03/22/393818941/first-listen-ryley-walker-primrose-green
  13. Hey Billydee, Are you going to catch Tweedy in Santa Fe on March 26th? Only 4ish hours for you, the wife and I will be there.
  14. My first mind blowing song was at a Loggins & Messina concert around 1975, my 1st concert at 12 years old. Heart opened and they were still really new, they were mind blowing enough, but my sister and I were there to see L & M, and they didn't disappoint, their whole show blew me away, but the song Vahevala, something like 20 minutes long blew my socks off. That song set the stage for the years to come of going to Dead shows. I remember being on a high for days after that show.

  16. We used drink OV (Old Vienna) splits too, and Molson Golden when we could afford it. Grew up in Clifton Park, NY graduated Shenendehowa in 1980.
  17. Do you remember Matt's splits? Used to buy 8 packs, I think, of Matts splits in high school, good stuff. Wasn't a split an 8oz clear bottle? That was a long time ago and a lot of beer under the bridge since then...
  18. Wasn't the Tweedy show at the Ryman recorded originally for a Roadcase release?

    Nels Cline

Looks like Nels will be joining Phil and Friends at the Capitol Theater. "At 74-years-old there's still no stopping Phil Lesh. Hot off a four-night stand of Phil Lesh & Friends shows at Terrapin Crossroads that just wrapped a few nights ago, Lesh brought a version of the project to Central Park's SummerStage last night for the first show of yet another four-night run. Phil and John Scofield, Warren Haynes, John Medeski and Joe Russo played the outdoor NYC venue on Wednesday night and will repeat the feat on Saturday. Tonight and tomorrow, Lesh brings the same lineup, with John Kadlecik s
