  1. I've been to a lot of shows in my (short) time, and I've seen some legends, just not in their prime. I will say my most special show is seeing Bruce Springsteen w/E street band playing about a half an hour with REM, NEIL YOUNG, John Fogarty, and Bright Eyes and being 2nd row was pretty mind blowing. Oh and I get to see my 2nd beatles when I see Ringo next monday!
  2. I like Songs for silverman a lot. I actually caught him live a few months ago and I had a great time. He was pretty spot on with a bassist and a drummer. Great show.
  3. Just started streaming! Thanks for the heads up. Solace did you catch them at the Orpheum a few years ago? It might be my favorite show of all time.
  4. Thats exactly what I hear from people who have seen them.
  5. I caught them last time they were in Minneapolis, Excellent show, but I don't think I can afford to go this time. I wouldn't mind seeing modest mouse once, esp if Johnny Marr is still with em.
  6. I'm considering the First Ave show, but its the day before I graduate.

  8. Maybe someone will take notice now that American Idol is over.
  9. I'm really hoping the Twins keep it up against Detroit and take the series.
  10. These Lumbar injections are a fairly common procedure, they have an Xray machine in the room and watch the needle so there is no question as to where they are located in the spine at any time. I'm not doctor (I'm an X-ray tech) but I have seen a few of these performed and they're very quick and painless because of the numbing medication they give you. I think that is a fairly common or even expected reaction right after an injection of steriods, I believe its supposed to subside soon hopefully!
  11. Hey if it cuts back on scalping I'm all for it.
  12. Good job Chicagoans...Chicagoites.....people of Chicago. That looked like a very scary proposition.
  13. I thought it was Pert too, but this is still sad. RIP
  14. Yeah I know, I have been waiting for this for years
  15. My favorite from that website: "Room of Inverted Radar"
  16. I'm debating if I should make the 8hr drive to St Louis...but being broke doesn't help matters.
  17. Thats quite the moustache on Rivers.
  18. That is just wrong, I need to learn your magic of getting front row tickets a week before the show! I was 2nd in line at the box office and still got balcony seats because the floor was nearly sold out by that time. I felt bad for the other hundred people waiting in line behind me. Anyways... I agree with everything you said, but the people who listen to KROC are not the ones going to a Wilco show. Did you notice the 89.3 signs posted everywhere? That makes me happy because I've heard them say that they want to bring music to town. I'm sure the musical tastes are different, Rochester
  19. You don't understand what a blessing it was for us who are actually from Roch, this was a big event for us, smattered all over the front page of our newspaper this was seriously the most suprising and satisfying musical event of the year here.
