  1. Have really missed this ALTWYS - they really dropped it from their set list during their SBS run - hope it is back to stay - so good...
  2. They have totally nailed this Mtn. Bed -- Glen's percussion/drum work is amazing.
  3. Indeed it is...no glitches yet.
  4. It's almost always this way - the webcast either fails miserably from the start or cuts out multiple times during the show - hope they work the kinks out within the hour...
  5. chrisvt... Thanks for the up of the Higher Ground show. Downloading now. Sorry to hear about the cell interference, but glad someone has a good source. Thanks again for getting this up and to all the tapers who make it possible for us to enjoy these shows for a long time after they're over... Cheers.
  6. Another great night last night - not quite as good as Burlington in my view - but I am NOT complaining. I was in the second row which was a real treat in the beautiful Calvin Theatre. It was very cool to be able to really watch Jeff's playing and performance from such close range. The Dreamer in my Dreams and Acuff Rose sans the PA was amazing from my spot in Row BB/Seat 112! Highlights for me: Someday, Some Morning, Sometime (sung beautifully) Wait Up (terrific guitar work) Fake Plastic Trees (after watching the YouTube versions from NZ with the Seven Worlds Collide band - this was somet
  7. Agree bbop... a very, very fun show! Jeff was clearly enjoying himself and the Burlington crowd was clearly happy to have him here. For a "bar" show - I thought the crowd was pretty well behaved. Great set list! He really mixed it up and he sounded terrific from start to finish. Highlights for me: Remember the Mountain Bed - (achingly beautiful last night) I Wanna Be Your Dog - (first time for me, what a great version he does) One By One - (simply gorgeous) Muzzle of Bees - (so well played and sung) Loved both Hummingbird and Theologians with Michael - but as stated above - a litt
  8. Looking for one extra Tweedy ticket for the Burlington show - a friend is making the trip to Burlington from DC and wants in! Thanks.
  9. Gotta say I was really impressed with Ryan and The Cards on this night. I thought the sound was considerably better for Ryan than it was last year for Wilco. Great song selection - I See Monsters, Goodnight Rose, Bartering Lines, and My Sweet Carolina were all exceptional. Bartering Lines is an amazing song! This band just keeps getting better. Ryan's voice was a strong as I have ever heard it, and Neal is a wonderful guitar player - understated and beautiful. The band truly seems to be enjoying themselves, and Ryan is much better at ignoring and not getting bent out of shape by the "tal
  10. Got in at 10:15 or so for The Calvin -- pulled 2 seats Row BB -- very stoked. Took longer to get into Higher Ground, but pulled three at 10:20 or so. Keep trying until they say "SOLD OUT!"
  11. For those of you thinking about making the trip to beautiful Burlington, VT -- I strongly encourage you to do so! Our little "city" is one of the great spots on the map. If you saw Wilco the last time they played Higher Ground (1999) you are in for a real treat. The old Higher Ground was a total shit hole and is now long gone. The new venue is four years old and is set in renovated old movie theatre that ownners gutted and transformed into a terrific 900 person club. The venue is comfortable, the sound is outstanding, and the sight lines are great. The club has two bars so lines move qu
  12. Thanks for posting these new clips -- really enjoyed them. Cheers
  13. See Ryan's Blog from today -- he is hanging it up after this tour -- Fox Theatre in Atlanta will be The Cardinals last show... I am glad that I got tix for New Haven in February.
  14. Cannot get it to play -- same thing happened with the Tanglewood show -- some very nice VCer sent me a link that did work -- would love that again...
  15. Thanks for the links and the blog post... these shows sound like they are tremendous fun. Any news on tappers? Thanks for the posts.
  16. Just getting back home from last night's show in Montreal... Wilco Setlist - please note, I missed the opener. You Are My Face Handshake Drugs Impossible Germany Jesus Etc. Hate it Here The Late Greats Walken ITMWLY So, here is my take on Wilco's set... This was my first time seeing the band in an arena -- I was not impressed at all. Their sound was hollow and I just didn't feel that they were able to "fill the room." I have seen the band at Merriweather and NOLA's Voodoo Festival where they did "fill the room" and clearly demonstrated the ability to make a large space feel small.
  17. I am still not getting patched through to the server... hmmm... Frustrating. I was at this show and am really looking forward to hearing a high quality recording of this show.
  18. Anyone else having trouble getting the Tanglewood show to play from Roadcase... Looking forward to seeing the boys and Neil in Montreal one week from tonight.
  19. Totally sweet - will do Montreal and NYC!
  20. Leaving for Colorado tomorrow morning for the Red Rocks show with The Black Keys on the 21st!!! After seeing their club show in Montreal in June -- I am expecting BIG things. Then, off for two two nights of Radiohead at the Hollywood Bowl. Ahhh, live music in the summer...
  21. Opps - and the Bangers was terrific... Thanks for the corrections.
