Email the flagship. And it's one thing if they cancelled an auction (everyone that bid pays the price), but it's quite another if they ended the auction early and someone one. It sounds like it was the former.

Less Than You Think

I doubt very much that we don't hear any repeats over the course of 5 nights. They can play all their recorded works from their LPs and still repeat a couple of songs.

Hopefully it's nothing like the Vic run in 2005 when people stood in line for an hour after the doors were supposed to open. I got there a half hour before doors, stood half-way around the block, and still had to stand there because of the delay in letting people in. I'll be damned if I stand there for hours in 20-degree weather this time around.

That's my zip code, but I'd hardly call it swanky. But I hope I'm wrong when I trying to sell my place in a year from now.

I believe that it's all UK -- Radiohead uses Sandbag as well (or at least they used to for ticketing).

Thanks for verifying. Evidently I'm not the only one that didn't get the emails. The funny thing is, I just googled REM and Sandbag, and got the members' ticket pre-sale page and was able to log in with my email address and password -- so they have my email. I got the original email about the tracklisting for Accelerate and about the tour, but nothing about the pre-sale. I guess we'll see.

Is anyone here in the REM fanclub? And if so, did they receive any information on the pre-sales? I know that people got one for a pre-sale on Tuesday, but I think that it was limited to UK fans for the UK tour that's supposed to be announced on Monday. I have a lot of trouble getting emails from Sandbag and REM, so I'm worried I missed it.

That's why I used to love Morphine so much. Mark Sandman would announce after the supposed last song of the first set that it was their last song, that he hates encores, that he's not about to walk off the stage and walk back on to pretend that the only reason he was back was because the crowd called for the band, and would just continue with the set. Basically, the band did no encores because it thought the fake ones were stupid. God, I miss Morphine.
