All I know is stay away from Mitsubishi. I bought one a few years ago (DLP) and have had nothing but issues with it to the point where I'm going to get rid of it. I will never buy one of their products again.

Been meaning to try that one. Soon as I quit listening to LCD Soundsystem, The National, and Band of Horses.

There goes the summer.

I'm sure it was in an article somewhere but I never actually heard how he hurt himself. Fall off the claw? Overzealous emoting? Slammed into the Edge? Tripped through the wires? Did Charles Manson try to steal Helter Skelter back? I really do want to know.

Well it's official, time to rename this thread: From U2.com:

Cool link, thanks. Ben sounded almost Cornell-esque (Cornellian?) in parts.

Nice! Thanks for that link!

Does this mean Liz Phair has to come out with a deluxe re-issue now?

So I went to guitar center to start the process of keyboard shopping. I think I'm even more confused. I was pretty much set on thinking I needed a big workstation type keyboard like the Yamaha Motif but now I'm not so sure. I don't really plan to use the keyboard to write entire music pieces, like layering drums, and multiple tracks of keyboard. I'm now leaning towards something more like the Korg X-50: Even the microkorg's seemed like they had an amazing sound: Basically I'm even more unsure of what I want now.

Yikes, I have had tickets for the June 12th show for about 6 months now. Not looking good for that to happen. I wonder how he hurt it? Get well soon Bono.

Beach House and The National.

The answer seemed obvious to me but I don't know...

"Cinderella" from Gentlemens blues by Cracker.

Yes! That sounds pretty good for a friday night.

Just got it in the mail from Amazon (Garmin nuvi 255w) so we will see. I will be using it for my trip to South Dakota/Minnesota in the coming weeks. Couldn't resist, the price kept dropping on Amazon (I think we ended up paying $130) and the reviews have seemed really good. Not as many cool features as Cryptique's though.

Yep, 5/10 for me too. Always amazing how recognizable small bits are. That intro to Something just gets me everytime, makes me want to pull out my Abbey Road disc.

Fables was the first REM tour I caught and I would love to get this, too bad no live show included. This is one of those cases that is tough for me. I already have the early REM stuff on vinyl, CD, and in some cases Cassette. Not sure I want to buy them all again although I have been eyeing Murmur and Reckoning for awhile now. I'm sure I will break down at some point.

I don't know, he makes it sound like running time is the issue, not filler. And he is concerned that they put so much good stuff on this album that the next album is going to suffer. How about we wait until the next album to worry about that? I don't see what's wrong with a long running time. Feel free to skip through a few if it bothers you.

Oops, I missed that. That makes more sense.

Probably over the top but I don't see that it's going to scar the kid for life or anything, I don't think kids are such delicate little flowers. He learned that if you do something wrong, it's possible the cops may get involved. Not sure that's teaching him to be afraid of the police (although I'm with the people that don't think that is such a bad thing either).

Am I the only one that had no idea the real life Creed used to be in the Grass Roots?

Corona, Heineken, and Stella are the best they can do for beer?

I don't get it, pitchfork gives the album a 7.7 and basically says the only thing that keeps it from being great it's too long and has too many good songs that they should have saved for their next record? Moronic.

I'm not sure I can handle watching another Celtics/Lakers finals.

His boys are going to have to drop first.
