No wonder the Besnard Lakes album sounds so good. Check out Lasek Goreas studio gear: Break glass studios

Damn, don't know how I missed that.

I actually remember watching that Letterman, so cool. They are playing the 3/12/10 further show on gdradio right now. Either somebody really sounds like him or that's Chris Robinson from Black Crowes singing Sugaree.

There was a band playing a rock version of "Chariots of Fire" at the Bolder Boulder 10k a few years ago which I thought was funny. I wondered if I timed it right as I was running by or if they really just play that song over and over for the entire race (Several hours).

You are a hell of a photographer Tinnitus. What exactly is hardcore?

Agreed, my morning exercise regimen takes a beating this time of year.

I remember watching that show. He looked so painfully awkward and nervous that it was just painful to watch. Seemed weird that someone who did live TV with SNL would be that nervous. Someone heckled him and his response was something idiotic like "the best thing right now is for you to pipe down" or something equally unclever. Horrible.

I'm really liking the Local Natives album, then I ran across this in Pitchfork (Ryan Hahn from local natives). Apparently a fan of Wilco: Favorite Older Songs at the Moment Ryan Hahn: Wilco: "I'm a Wheel" is awesome. Elvis Costello & the Attractions: "No Action". Arctic Monkeys: "Fake Tales of San Francisco". The Supremes: "Love Is Here and Now You're Gone".

Skateaway, Water of Love, Expresso Love, tons of good songs. What a great guitar player, he has that unique guitar tone that is instantly identifiable. I spent hours learning every lick on Sultans of swing back in high school. -
Fallon seems to be getting all the good bands lately, or at least bands I'm not seeing anywhere else. Beach House, Joanna Newsom, Ted Leo, now this. Definitely gets me excited for the new album.
-
Loving the album so far. Just keeps getting better as I listen. Up there with Beach House and Broken Bells as my faves of the year so far.

This stuff is really good. I like how they write on the label what music they are listening to during bottling. I spent a lot of time looking through the bottles to see what they were listening to. They had Cake, Tom Waits, Dave Mathews, if they had Wilco I would have been all over it.

Damn, I hate that, I can't see the image you posted. NP (and enjoying):

Truckers are playing Letterman on Friday March 12th.
-
Finally got this one, giving it a first listen this morning...
-
Oh man, I had a feeling it was going to be good. I had a friend taunting me with texts from the show, rubbing it in. Stuff like "Doing Pink Floyds Time now"!
-
I just started working my way through it, she did a rare appearance on late night TV: Newsom on Fallon
-
Lucky you! I can't wait until he comes around again.

Shot of Jason at the Music of the Who show at Carnegie. Apparently he did "Behind blue eyes" at the show:

Smithereens, looks like a 52 reissue! -
I still like it although it's really just the guitar work on it, that's when Eddies tone was still amazing.
-
Damn, are they on sale already? I better get on it (for the Denver show).
-
I will be seeing them live on 3/16, can't wait. Since this is a Band of Horses thread I feel I can ask, does anybody know why they named that beautiful song "Detlef Shrempf". I know who Detlef is, just having a hard time equating him with the song.
