Very messy.

The Espresso machine is about the only thing I would want.

I agree with you on that one. Some of the best guitar playing Clapton has done since Cream. Roger somehow got him to really let go. I just kind of assume there is blood and urine everywhere in every hotel room. This must have been really nasty.

Actually nothing too highbrow. Reading Duma Key by Stephen King.

Yes. I pull these out every few months like clockwork. Thanks for reminding me I'm due.

C'mon, it's 3 songs. Baker Street, Right down the line, and Stuck in the Middle (I assume he gets Steelers wheel money). I like all 3 of those songs. Nothing wrong with a bender but it sounds like he has been on one for 30 years.

Weird, 7 months is a long time to be missing. I think you answered the question yourself He's got this dream about buyin' some land He's gonna give up the booze and the one night stands And then he'll settle down, in some quiet little town And forget about everything

I'm with the #1 voters. Just gets better and better as you listen to it. I was a bit disappointed by #2 as well.

Excellent, streaming the box set and it sounds great. -

Any recommendations on the best 3 or 4 of these? -
I apparently lack the brain capacity for Joyce. Tried reading Ulysses a few times and it was futile. I don't feel like reading a translation along with the book. I also have Pynchon's "gravities rainbow" that I have not tackled yet. I heard his books are full of very obscure historical references and things so I want to make sure I can google things as I read them. It's not a sit on the beach book.

Every year I plan to ride to work at least 2x a week (in the summer). This year I'm going to do it. It's only about 14 miles so I have no excuses. I have a Cannondale mountain bike which works on and off road pretty well, good for those short cuts on the dirt trails. I rode to work on "Bike to work day" last year and my groin was screaming by the end. I refuse to wear the little black bike shorts. I have heard you groin gets numb or something after awhile and it's not a problem but I'm thinking of getting some of those shorts that look like normal shorts but have padding. Mountain bike

Is that the one with Jimmy Page or is that something else?

Will do. PM me some info, it won't be long before we are looking to do that.

It's worth seeing, there are some great moments but overall I thought it would be better.

Roy Buchanan bootlegs Grateful dead bootleg from Bill Graham tribute show in golden gate park Replacements bootleg from 1981 at 7th street entry Big star album alternate versions. I found a place to download tons of bootlegs so going a bit crazy on it right now.

I heard David Lee Roth is still doing EMT work in New York. How strange to be laying there after an accident and have Diamond Dave taking care of you.

That's a great track. Kind of grabs you immediately.

Just watched "Religulous". Meh.

Confederacy of Dunces is an enigma to me. I know people who say it's their favorite book ever and just as many people said they could not even get through it and gave up. I loved that book. I still give the edge to Owen Meany but Cider House was good. I was actually reading Cider house when I was about 16 at the airport and Stevie Ray Vaughan walked by. I ran up to him to get his autograph but like a dork I couldn't find a blank page in the book (I was nervous) so now I have his autograph on top of one of those "Critics rave about Cider House Rules" pages. He was super cool by the way

Love the Thirteen clip and him talking about Wilco geeks. -
Even the "I'm too excited to sleep" line cracked me up in that one.

This is very helpful and I love hearing your take on it. $37 for all three on Amazon, think I'm going to pull the trigger.

When Harry met Sally and the Vagina Monologues? You whipped Bobbob? Kidding of course. Actually does sound like a nice day.

I have thought about tackling those, it just seemed daunting at this point. Waiting for the right mind set. I have a hard time only reading one of any series so once I start I'm committed. Good to hear it's got your recommendation.
