  1. Ain't that a bitch? Now you have to buy everything twice.
  2. 3 Stars? And the new Springsteen gets 5? Wrong!
  3. Wow. Really enjoyed going through the pictures and stories. Thanks all of you!
  4. One positive about people being out of work, more time to do stuff like this.
  5. That is a bummer, not that they were going to go to the Playoffs but he was at least a good reason to watch.
  6. Easy, Highway 61 and Blood on the tracks are my faves.
  7. And the best part (after reading complaints about ticket prices on other threads), Jason Isbell at the Bluebird in Colorado...wait for it... $14.00!
  8. My favorite also. Our band does Adam Raised a Cain in fact.
  9. Interesting, I would be curious what others think. I always thought of that song as more of a Joe Walsh song than an Eagles song, it seemed to fit the mood to me, lyrically and otherwise.
  10. They must be more popular than I would have thought. Playing at the Fillmore in Colorado which is also large.
  11. I always thought "In the City" fit the ending of that movie quite well. Made me like the song more than I would have.

    Wilco Shout Out

Just got the new Kweller album but have not listened to it yet other than a few songs. Never been a big fan. Sounds like he has the right influences going into the album though.
  13. I wonder why Paul and Ringo don't team up occasionally. Maybe there would just be too much hype to deal with. Dave Grohl has now played with Jimmy Page/John Paul Jones, Tom Petty, Tony Iommi, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana of course, teamed up with Greg Dulli, Thurston Moore, the list goes on, and now Macca. That guys is living the dream.
  14. Would love to check out Headley. I wonder if those interviews from the links were in his London house (Below). Not a bad pad.
  15. Still my favorite Sonic Youth but I have been listening to Rather Ripped quite a bit lately.
  16. Thought I would post our band flyer for our first gig 2.20.09 (date to be added to flyer),
  17. Thanks for the great links. I can't wait for that movie (It might get loud). Those shots of Jimmy listening to "Rumble" are priceless. You can see the shear joy that song still brings him. I know that song had a profound effect on the Beatles as well.
  18. I love Feathers and My morning song! I think I could have just picked any 5 songs from Warpaint or Lions for this list.
  19. This movie is playing at the University of Colorado this week. I have not seen it in 20 years. I wonder if it holds up, I remember really liking it.
  20. Wow, this is bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix081prSiNc&h...&fs=1"
