  8. no. if it cost 350MM to make a drug, no one would be in business. biotech's a lot more expensive than traditional API mfg, but the price is definitely coming down as processes and yields improve. the big cost is in the clinical trials.

  14. i can't recall the source of this quote that i sent my father-in-law earlier this year, but i've been in the MFG or engineering part of biotech for my entire career and this sounds about right: i dunno. i guess it depends on your sense of humor. i found it downright fucking hilarious, as did my friends. maybe it's just us.
