Is there any fun stuff to do around the town that we can do on Thursday night and Friday morning if we are bored? We are driving in from Michigan and checking in on Thursday afternoon.

Go to your local record store and and see if they have any decent used turntables there. My general rule is, if I try to pick it up, and its very light, it's probably not worth buying. Don't bother with those combo CD/Table/Lp things, because they aren't about quality, just convenience. A phono pre-amp is a good choice if you have a decent stereo, but you might be better off looking for a vintage receiver, which will sound nice.

Yeah those two are really a toss-up for me, too. Depends on my mood. I have a couple friends that would ONLY listen to AM before the other Wilco albums started growing on them. Guess it depends on your musical background.

The amount of dedication and endurance these guys have is amazing. I could never imagine just playing guitar and singing for three hours straight. Maybe thats why I'm not a professional performer!

I'm sitting to the left of my stereo speakers so I can't even tell if its dropping out. Headphones would suck if that was the case. Wow, yeah its all staticy out of that speaker.

Sorry for all those using firefox to no avail. It works fine for me here, probably because I'm on my university's connection, which is really solid. My only recommendation would to make sure all your file-sharing stuff and anything that's downloading stuff should be turned off, even if you aren't currently downloading anything.

Tips for not having a dropping out stream: USE FIREFOX. Last time I was using Safari, and it was not working well. I've been using Firefox for this one and it hasn't dropped yet. Haha, Tweedy hates Easter.

what time will the show start EST? I'm seeing 8pm on ticket master. I think they are EST, too. Basically, when do you think the stream will start going...thinking of recording it again.

Pavement had a box set last year from Matador that had four LPs pressed on 120gram black vinyl. That one retailed for about $65-$75 depending on the store. I think that $70 is a good price for this package with it's somewhat limited run, and you know it's going to be high quality.
