LBJ. Texan with a salty vocabulary and who probably had a way with seasonings. Not known for his grace or subtle nature. probably dug stuff on the spicy side. And think about it....put him in a dirty old white t-shirt, an apron and one of those old paper hats short order cooks used to wear and he would certainly look the part. Edit Caliber beat me to it.

I felt similarly. Back in the day when I would check out records in listening booths "Areoplane" never really moved me enough to pull the trigger on it. Then one day a friend was spinning it in the background as we were making dinner. I found myself drifting off to discover what was playing. It was then that it "clicked". I abandoned the kitchen leaving her to finish with the meal preparations; ( not that I was much help anyway), found myself on the floor in front of the speakers taking it all in. It's been a fav. ever since.

My heartfelt condolences also. Take care.

Enjoyed it quite a bit. Cotillard's performance was fantastic. Her ability to convey frantic desperation was truly compelling. I liked the overall look of the film, thought it was shot beautifully.
