i only got: blitzen trapper- maybe baby/soul singer 7" built to spill- ripple 7" almost picked up the lady gaga picture disc, but couldn't bring myself to spend the $10. in hindsight, i should've done it.

decent interview and performance, especially the bon jovi comments. jeff should really make a solo record.

I think I'm going to go to the NJ one. Lineup looks pretty good. Hate on DMB all you want, his show in Central Park might be the best show I've ever seen. Their last few studio efforts haven't been very good, but the intensity they bring to the stage is pretty special.

this is the table i have. highly recommended. i've got it hooked up to a nad amp and triangle titus bookshelf speakers.

no pressure, but you should post that boulder show when you get around to mastering it i think i saw you in boulder and portland... i'm assuming you're the only photographer who'd be at both! great photos!

your corrections look good, gtrplyr! i think we both might be mistaken on the 'blowing stone' line. i can't decipher what he's singing. there's something about the 3rd line too...

nice recording, thanks!

anyone care to help transcribe the lyrics? i know i've butchered this, but it's a start. i really like this song, and am eager to hear how it will translate to a wilco song. I have heard the (?) worry of the gospel very fast across the void i have married broken spoke charging smoke winds spit and swallowed opioids i am the driver at the wheel of the horror marching circles at the gate my eyes have seen the fury so flattered by (fear?) tonight i'd rather count the warm fumes eternally subtract the silence of myself i would rather choose the middle mind of mystery reverse the riddle for

I agree with you. In my concert-going experience, the better crowds tend to be in major cities like Boston/NYC vs say Lowell, MA or Portland, ME. The crowds are different in bigger cities, and i think often times a band's intensity is drastically different when they are playing these smaller cities. Whether or not a show is general admission or seated plays a role as well. I don't think age has much to do with it, especially for Tweedy/ Wilco shows.

Jeff was in good spirits tonight... There was some good banter between him the audience. The crowd seemed respectful, but there was little to no singing along or whistling... just a lot of out of time clapping (which Jeff kept referencing). I just find the ticket prices to be a bit greedy, but more so alienating. You really cut off a portion of your fan base when you set prices that high. An average/casual fan can't afford $250+ to attend a concert. I'm a huge Tom Petty fan, and encountered something similar last summer. You pay $50 or so to be part of his fan club to get preferred seating, then suffer through $150/ticket prices. As lame as it sounds, I was really offended by the prices, as Petty has always been vocal about not wanting to play for "golden circles" or corporate VP folks who inherit the best seats. Coming from a

pulled really great tickets for one of the boston shows. then saw that it was over $500 for 2 tickets. lol what a joke. no, thanks.

apparently an e-mail with the password went out to those who are subscribed to the mailing list (which i'm not on). i'll keep poking around. i got shut out of NYC very quickly and i'm usually pretty lucky.

I've been searching the past 2 days as well, and can't find anything. I've found other passwords, but they seem to be changing it for each city. I'll report back if I find it. http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?organ_val=3711&perfcode=NWLM01&perfsubcode=2011

Wilco Tweet: Stay tuned. Solid Sound Festival lineup announcement tomorrow (Tues. 3/1) @ 10am Eastern.

i got a kick out of chuck klosterman's tweet from this morning: "I'm sure Radiohead is depressed about these reviews, since they obviously make albums for people to listen to once at 9:20 am on a laptop." still, it feels a bit underwhelming... like these are b-sides or something. in all fairness, i've only listened once. will give it another shot later.

if it's half as good as 'in rainbows' we're in for a treat. and for the record-- jethro tull did the newspaper thing ~40 yrs ago w/ 'thick as a brick'.

Why is there such disappointment over Wilco(The Album)?

i was never crazy about ''one wing'' until hearing jeff play it solo. completely changed my opinion of the song.
