Lucky you. I'm hoping to see him this weekend.

Béla Fleck’s Banjo Summit. Words cannot describe.

Great voice, but they need to work on their live show. Boston's set was lacking momentum; the stage banter was cringeworthy at times. I did get both of their CDs though, I'm excited to give them a listen. BT were great. I'm getting over a cold and wasn't able to muster the strength to stay for the entire show. I'm not sure why they were booked for a 10:15 start on a Sunday night. Royale was empty, it was a bit embarrassing. A better venue and a different time slot and there would've been a more impressive turnout.

Saw them read from their new book and do a Q & A at the Brattle. It was hilarious... Even got a book signed by them afterwards. How was the show you went to?

Doesn't get much better.

Funny you say that... "Nearly Midnight, Honolulu" is my current fav on the record. It was the biggest the surprise.

On my third listen... I love it.

While I didn't hear this, I feel like this is the most appropriate thread for this little find: EATER BOSTON: As a woodworker and a musician, do you find yourself paying attention to things like the furniture and the music when you're walking into a restaurant, or is it all about the food for you? Nick Offerman: I pay a great deal of attention, especially when an establishment is playing music that's in my wheelhouse. Makes me just immediately want to embrace the proprietor. When you walk into a place ready for a savory meal, and they're playing Tom Waits or Neil Young or Wilco or Bob Dyla

From Jeff Garlin's "AMA" on Reddit: I loved seeing your live shows with Guster, do you think that you would ever try doing that again? What did you like most about touring with a band rather than on a comedy tour [–]jeffgarlin[S] 18 points 14 hours ago oh i really want to, and we've even talked about it! As a matter of fact, I will be doing some shows with Jeff Tweedy in December. What i liked most was the companionship - going on the road as a comedian is awfully lonely. A few months ago Guster did an acoustic tour with him. Garlin did a brief stand up set & then came out

Thanks, that's the one. I'm really late to the YLT party.

That's a lot of Wilco shows! I can't stop thinking about Yo La Tengo's set. Do you know the name of the last song they played? it was the longest "jam" of their set. I thought it was totally captivating. Also, I'm glad that they got an hour. Turned out to be more of a co-headlining show than I expected.

Sorry-- I'm not neighbors with a Chris. I was about 5 rows back in the middle section. I recorded a song from both B&S's set, and YLT's. Here's Belle & Sebastian's Another Sunny Day:

I believe Ticketmaster/Live Nation have a transfer option. They basically void the tickets you have and generate PDFs. I might be interested in taking them off your hands-- I didn't buy them during the on sale as I couldn't justify the cost. I'm sort of kicking myself now. -
Love this Roadcase recording. I forgot how good Forget the Flowers was with Julian Lage. Why can't Nels do that?

Hilarious.
