Metal Evolution - Grunge Episode I guess those dudes aren't fans of hair metal. I'm not exactly a fan of so-called hair metal myself, but I wouldn't write all of those bands off. Ratt has some great songs, and Cinderella too. I read a book a while back about the Seattle scene. It seemed to focus more on the tragedies than the music, but I learned a few things. One of which, was that a lot of those bands seemed to hate metal. I find that odd, as I still think a lot of Grunge bands were really playing a form of metal, they just dressed like Metallica, instead of looking like Ratt. And I'd s

I hope he gave the money back.

I didn't know that. I want to read the book he wrote at some point.

I like the music he is playing in one of the first introduction videos. You can read a lot about Meyer Sound in the book: Grateful Dead Gear - The Band's Instruments, Sound Systems, and Recording Sessions, From 1965 to 1995.

Every time I see PJ records albums mentioned, I recall that is the last new record I ever bought - Vitalogy. I got it for 5 bucks brand new.

You'll get it. Those are part of the American versions of the Beatles albums. That is what I grew up with.

I wonder if that guy in the video is related to him? He was also the mastermind behind David Lee Roth's early solo career.

It would have to be new - and bought in a store that uses SoundScan. I use to have an original pressing that my Dad bought when it came out - but it came up missing about 20 years ago. I still have the cover - just the record album is missing. I've never bought a Wico record album. I wouldn't mind having Being There on vinyl.

It's interesting that he named it after the GD museum complex project that never happened.

I saw that on Facebook. He must have money to burn.

I suppose I thought that site was for guitar strumming unknown types. He must either not be as wealthy as I think, or he does not want to spend his own bread on the tour.

Rich Robinson Embraces Globalization I find this a bit odd.

Yea - you guys gets that, and we get Sherlock as a superhero. I'd say you got the better deal. Mr. Cumberbatchis also going to be in the new Star Trek film. Maybe he could play some sort of role in Doctor Who someday. I have to say one thing about the first two episodes - Susan's screaming gets old rather quick. -

I did not know that. I wonder why he declined. -

I believe the first two have been shown (on PBS). I may buy the dvds of that series. I think that guy playing Sherlock could play Doctor Who some day. I made it to the end of the recent series. I started at the very beginning today. I am now watching The Daleks episode (the second ever episode.) As with most things, I prefer the old stuff. -

They are playing shows still - you can find them on Facebook. Cary has a Facebook page also.

I understand all that, but don't offer people money. The sort of stuff you are seeking is out there. When money is exchanged, it is bootlegging. We don't do that. You can find the following at the Owl and Bear - Live Wilco Archive: If the following is what you are looking for: Just enter those words into the Google search box - and you will find it.
