  1. That is why they hired him, of course. I read an interview with Jon yesterday. He was talking about doing an album with Rick Wakeman. Jon Anderson on Being Booted From Yes: 'Anger Isn't There'
  2. Mp3 files sound like shit anyhow - stick with the sound from the record player. I was actually at one of the shows that was taped for that live album.
  3. I don't know why some stuff is cool, and some stuff is not. You can guys can do what you want, I am just offering my view, and maybe keeping someone from catching a bunch of hell.
  4. I don't have the means to rip records or I would offer to do it for you. I figure you can find the tracks out there somewhere.
  5. It's not really a good idea to post here asking for officially released Wilco tracks. If you do a search, I am sure someone has posted them out there somewhere.
  6. Here is something I did not know about - this use to be a link on the Wilco website:
  7. After checking the Wayback Machine, I see that you are right. I wonder what I was thinking of - maybe the lyrics site.
  8. I don't know if the information is still correct, but there is a thread pinned up there about Front Gate Ticketing. Here are three FAQ pages from the Wilco website:
  9. I was thinking he would run the company from Scranton. We'll see.
  10. You can see him in some Grass Roots videos on Youtube. Sex, Lies, and Videotape, and The Office: Confirmed: James Spader Joins 'The Office' As New Boss I figured he would get it.
  11. If I ever see Jeff again, I may ask him why he chose that song. I love the album John Wesley Harding, but that last two songs (Down Along the Cove and I'll Be Your Baby Tonight) on that album I could do without.
  12. Bob Weir and Chris Robinson - Wake Up Little Susie (TRI Studios) I could think of better songs for them to do - but, they are the ones who pick the songs, I guess.
  13. I've not heard that he has - but I would think Neil must know about it by now.
  14. I think I like the one with Bruce the best. I still think Neil should get him to open some shows.
  15. I am seeing August 9th as the release date for The Smile Sessions now. I have not seen it listed at Amazon or such places so far though.
  16. I've always found this sort of research pretty cool: After the Gold Rush by Neil Young - Album Cover Location I like the original photograph better than the one used.
  17. Watch this section of Via Chicago: Greatest Lost Track of All Time
  18. I think Doc Martin should be the next Doctor Who. I forget what episode I am up to now - Planet of the Dead, I think.
  19. Brothers of the Sonic Cloth - Fires Burn Dim in the Shadows of the Mountain
  20. I once proposed to him that he do some acoustic Black Sabbath covers. That new song still sounds sort of boring to me. I am willing to give the new album a chance, so we'll see.
  21. New interview - by way of Thrasher's Wheat: Crosby and Nash Interview: CSNY 1974 Tour Box Set
  22. It's sort of a neat idea. But - it seems odd. Almost like The Merv Griffin Show or something.
  23. He seems to have a thing for Alice In Chains songs.
