I read that this morning. I believe a lot of rock dudes live there, and/or out west.

A really great set: Grateful Dead Live at Fillmore East on 1970-09-19

I saw that somewhere. I think it is just Bono and The Edge. Sort of pathetic, I think.

I have one of those Trans Tour t-shirts. Someone offered me 200 bucks for it a few years ago. The one I have has the tour dates on the back side.

Neil Young

It is also coming out on DVD (May 31st).

It was their harmonies.

Far out, man.

I have most all of the Sessions At West 54th on video, but no way to transfer the tapes. It must be out there somewhere. It was an episode featuring many of the people on the tribute album. The Wilco segment was taped when they did an episode of the show. If I recall correctly. 1998-06-12 Wilco - Lounge Ax, Chicago, IL This is one of the shows where they played the song. You can find it at The Wilco Archive.
-
Cool. Was it from the video they did for Sessions At West 54th that you first heard it?

100 Years From Now is a Byrds song written by Gram Parsons. You can find it on the album Sweetheart of the Rodeo. The Wilco version is on the album Return of the Grievous Angel (A Tribute to Gram Parsons). I think it was played live twice in 1998.

It's a compilation made from a 21 volume bootleg set known as The Beach Boys: Unsurpassed Masters (Sea Of Tunes). The quality is very clear. You get to hear some really neat stuff. It is sort of like the Pet Sounds boxset.

I'll take a look and see if I have anything from the project we did a few years ago. I have a dim recollection of sending it all to someone. I can't recall who though.

The recent Black Sabbath re-releases were UK only also, I think. Sundazed is great. It seems a lot of record companies (or what is left of them) are re-issue labels now. -

I figured Outsourced would get the boot. NBC can't seem to come up with anything to stick in there on Thursday nights around The Office, Community, and Parks and Recreation. The word is that Ashton Kutcher is taking over for Charlie Sheen - at a 1 million an episode. I tried to watch that show once or twice. It seemed like crap to me. -
It sort of does - somewhere. It was worked on around here several years ago, I think.
-
Plus, we got to see Jean-Ralphio and The Douche again.
-
I'd say Parks and Recreation won the night for me. I didn't think the Community episode, or The Office was all that great. Or maybe it was due to having two episodes of Parks and Recreation to watch. I loved that Andy line about Neutral Milk Hotel. He said something about them being "sad, depressing, weird, and art". I'll take Mouse Rat any day.
-
That made me think of the Lennon line - he said everyone gets a book, the gardener, the chauffeur, the fan, etc.

I think like the Elvis Costello cds, David Bowie's catalog has been re-released two or three times since the Ryko releases. -

That's why I don't have the 2004 cd remasters of My People Were Fair and Had Sky in Their Hair... But Now They're Content to Wear Stars on Their Brows, Unicorn, Beard of Stars, and Prophets Seers & Sages: The Angels of the Ages. They were Universal UK. I really wish the Bolan estate would make a deal with Rhino. -
I should have posted the title - Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd
