  1. I saw that at the theater also. I think the first one I saw was The Wall. I'd run the GD movie, and The Song Remains The Same. I'd also run the GD movie Sunshine Daydream.
  2. I saw that earlier today. I guess it is not as wide spread as it was the first time around. It's not playing here. The oldest movie theater (an original Warner Bros. theater) here where I live is now closed. I would like to open it and run rock and roll films.
  3. I have an original pressing of Surf's Up. I always thought that cover would make a good tattoo.
  4. Abed is the best. Some of my favorite episodes: Modern Warfare Contemporary American Poultry Messianic Myths and Ancient Peoples Critical Film Studies Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas I also really like Parks and Recreation. This is mainly due to Ron, April, and Andy. They should do some cross-over episodes like they use to do on sitcoms back in the 70s.
  5. The Beach Boys Fanclub site has also noted the source you posted. I hope it does not cost a lot, as I think I am going to go for the deluxe package.
  6. Brief clip from the upcoming PJ film: Mookie I notice that young grunge dude has a KNAC shirt on. I use to listen to that station when I was in Long Beach.
  7. Announcing the Arrival of Concert Video Direct link to the Video Vault.
  8. I've never thought of Doctor Who as a kid's show. Yahoo's description of Doctor Who: Family-oriented program about a time-traveling physician.
  9. I'm up to The Unicorn and the Wasp - which I can't find. So I have moved on to the next episode.
  10. I sometimes wonder where she is now. Such a short flash on her, but I dig the headscarf and her dress. I sort of remember when teenage girls looked like that. The good old days.
  11. Nels Cline, Tim Berne and Jim Black To Release Live Improvised Album
  12. I heard it - I just didn't buy it. It's the first album he has made that I did not buy. Maybe I will change my view down the road.
  13. There are multiple sources out there for the recent shows that Wendy mentioned. Dime a Dozen is the only place you are going to find the shows at the moment.
  14. I still think those albums are terrible. I don't remember where, and maybe it is gone now, but there was a thread on some message board where someone was putting up all the stray Ryan tracks. I think the link is probably in this thread or the previous Ryan Adams thread.
  15. Steve Gorman of The Black Crowes Interview (9 Part audio interview) He mentions Wilco as one of his favorite bands.
  16. Some heavy songs indeed - Trouble is on the album Mona Bone Jakon. Father and Son is on the album Tea for the Tillerman.
  17. True - it would be however many times played minus the past year or so. The setlists posted in this section or the track-lists posted in the Greatest Lost Track of All Time section could also be used.
  18. He can also go to Wilcobase and see how many times a song has been played.
  19. Far out, man. Did Ozzy show up at any Record Stores?
  20. You are starting out with the good stuff. It won't cost you a lot if you look in the right places. Almost all my records are beat to hell - just the way I like it.
  21. I don't know anything about that stuff. I am not really into new music, or indie rock or whatever you call it. Maybe if you post some big photos I will be able to understand better. I was talking about old/used records.
  22. Go to flea markets, and places such as the Salvation Army. You will find records without paying some greedy person a bunch of money. I don't think I have ever paid over ten bucks for a record album.
  23. That's some mighty fine musicianship right there.
