  1. Quite a run: Love, American Style>Happy Days>Laverne and Shirley, Mork & Mindy, Joanie Loves Chachi, Out Of The Blue, and Blansky's Beauties
  2. Check out this section of Via Chicago: Via Chicago>Greatest Lost Track of All Time>In a Future Age There you will find a thread with information about the source, and a link to the BT site where the show is up.
  3. I don't care who you are, that's funny right there. Yes, many times, by several different women.
  4. It was stated as "due to an unforeseen family matter". I find it odd that he would be into the sort of music Wilco plays.
  5. They canceled the second run of shows.
  6. There have been only three shows from this tour to appear so far, so it may be a while (or not). Keep an eye on this section of Via Chicago: Via Chicago>Greatest Lost Track of All Time Or check these sites: bt.etree.org Dime A Dozen.org Hunger City.org Pure Live Gigs.com The Trader's Den.org Also, you may like this site: Boots Daily
  7. I think mine is a early 1980s pressing, and did not actually come with the book. Someone I knew gave the book to me (actually two copies). I guess they must not have included the book with the record for very long. I do, however, have a first pressing of the Faces Dances album (it came with a poster, and apparently, not all that many were printed.) I don't own any Wilco or Uncle Tupelo on vinyl. I do have the original pressings of the Uncle Tupelo cds though.
  8. I bought most of what I obtained in the late 90s/early 2000s at flea markets. Also, somewhat from the two record stores that used to be downtown where I live. It was mainly cds that I got in those two places though. Before that, they were given to me by other people, or purchased at the record store at the mall, or by way of the record department in a department store.
  9. On one of those shows last week, there was all sorts of new films mentioned in the dialogue between the characters.
  10. Sounds good. I wish I had still had somewhere to go buy old records. I think the last new album I bought was Vitalogy.
  11. Despite all the records you got, You're still just non-virgin vinyl not knowing Jff from the block. I found this at Wikipedia: The deal about the 1970s is also why some recording tape from the 1950s is in better shape than the same brand from the 1970s. It had to do with the oil shortage. I always figured it was some sort of deal like that. Anyone ever see serving bowls and/or purses made from melted records? Disgraceful.
  12. That surprises me (due to the vinyl buying fad). I wonder if it is about the price? It seems odd that something like that would take a year to sell. I have a lot of old records at home that have goodies along with the records. Along with the actual record, there are posters, books, photo sheets, lyric sheets, booklets, etc. I suppose it would cost a lot of money to put out stuff like that today. For example: The Quadrophenia booklet
  13. New Leads (deleted scenes) Hope (Grows In A Dump)
  14. There will be. At least I see people being down on those that take photos. All I am saying is - people have been taking photos and posting photos here for years. And now it seems there is some sort of backlash about taking them. Is it because now there are a whole wall of people taking them, instead of just those who go to a lot of shows? I don't know. I have not seen the band in several years. Speaking of rock photographers, Jim Marshall died the other day. You may not know the name, but you have seem his photographs.
  15. That is certainly true. You can do as you please. I was sort of trying to be funny there. I meant that taking shit from out there can lead to trouble. And once you know how, it is somewhat difficult to let go of it. If I have a cd I no longer want, I just give it away.
  16. I have been around here going on eight years, and I don't recall ever seeing anyone complain about photos of Wilco posted in various After The Show threads. I find it is quite the opposite - people enjoy looking at them. Just because the band may be jacked up about people taking photos, does not mean we should shun those who take photos. Remember - there are people here with Flickr and Photobucket accounts containing hundreds of WIlco photos. I would rather look at a Wilco fan photo over a so-called professionally shot Wilco photo. The same goes with regards to fan shot videos. Al
  17. Mp3 files are not the same as the sound files on a CD. Plus, stealing is stealing.
  18. I have not heard back from him in quite a while.
  19. Try this: Download from Wilcoworld - Registration Required.
  20. I've never heard of that show. I would think ABC will be scrambling to keep the audience they have gained from LOST. They should have a show called Lonesome Town. Rick Nelson (as a ghost, of course) could be the guy who helps people that suddenly find themselves in a deserted town in the middle of nowhere.
  21. Not yet. Keep an eye on this section of Via Chicago: Via Chicago>Greatest Lost Track of All Time

That one also - anything but Gun.
  23. Hopefully, the only thing left does not get the axe. I always thought is was sort of odd to yell about people filming, but not those taking photos throughout the whole show. I would think the use of flash had something to do with it.
