I think all of that turned out to be something in his head, and not something that was actually going to happen. I can't recall exactly. Ok - that was in 2007. It looks like he is posting again: Blackhole

Several years ago now, I use to be able to buy new cds for 7 or 8 bucks. Universal betting on lower prices to boost CD sales

Not to be confused with the Hoyt Axton song of the same name.

Also - there is a Hendrix torrent site out there: Crosstown Torrents It's interesting to read what they think about the new album. Also - there is a torrent up of James Marshall - Midnight Lightning. I bought that album for five bucks backs in the early 1990s. If anyone wants this, here it is (in FLAC)(This is a link to a FLAC blog): Message From Nine To The Universe

You should read the Kot book, and/or watch Man In The Sand. I don't think Jeff would lie. When I first saw this posted, I also thought of the Guthrie songs Jay is working on. It's either that, or Billy is going to do a Volume III by himself.

It turns out that I have it, and forgot that I had it. Question is - where did I get it? Every place I looked it was a dead seed. That may be where I got it from. I spent a great deal of time this past Winter redoing all of my track lists, and getting rid of CDRs of albums that I ended up buying. Or albums that people sent me that I could just not get into. I must have it got it during that time and forgot about it. I also gained a case full of Ryan Adams studio stuff, and Led Zeppelin soundboards. Taper's Section (March 22- March 28, 2010)

You have to decode FLAC files to WAV files, or Mp3 files to burn them to a cd. Check out the link Bit Torrent and Related Links in my signature line.

I think he said some where once that Geffen/OutPost/Mood Food owns most of the old stuff, and Lost Highway the rest.

So you saw them not long before Randy's death. What's interesting to me that those first two albums sound nothing like Sabbath, and also - he never made anything better. Ozzy's albums from then on may have sold millions, but to me they were just slicked up video-ready metal. I suppose there are some good songs here and there, but to me, he just became a cartoon version of himself. Ozzy recently dumped Zakk Wylde for a new guitar player. I can't believe he is still making albums.
-
I still have the fist album on cassette, and original pressings of the first two albums on vinyl. Yes - luckily - you can still find the old cds out there. (March 19, 1982 was the day he was killed.)

Ozzy - I Don't Know (After Hours TV Show) (Rudy Sarzo on bass, and Tommy Aldridge on drums) (Bob Daisley on bass, and Lee Kerslake on drums)(I've always loved that guitar deal at the end.) (Bob Daisley on bass, and Lee Kerslake on drums)

I wondered about that.

I should have looked there. Now I wonder if they snagged the file from Archive.org. The version of The Other One on Road Trips Volume 1, Number 3 is pretty cool (except for Weir moving to Me and My Uncle).

Rolling Stones to reissue Get Your Ya Ya's Out
Analogman replied to Col. Hapablap's topic in Someone Else's Song
Just saw this on another message board: That is a great film. I have a boot of it. I have always hoped they would put it out on DVD officially some day. Also - The Secrets Behind the Rolling Stones' "Exile on Main Street" Reissue -
Interesting. Most people I know that are my age only listen to the radio, and nothing else. Of course, they are not music freaks. I have been listening to U2 since 1982 or so, but I am not buying some U2 vinyl remix album. Of course, I don't buy record albums (anymore). There was an article a while back somewhere that talked about how some bands are putting out elaborate packages like that - cd and vinyl. I can't recall what the whole article was about though. U2 does not need the cash - at least, not that I know of. Although, I read the last tour costs 6 figures a day to operate, so may
-
But it is still ok to get upset here right? They should have just put those tracks out there for anyone to grab. Although there is a vinyl craze going on these days, how many U2 super fans (the people most likely to buy such a thing) have a record player?
-
I could tell as soon as I heard it. I read that last night, but I was curious as to why they did not acknowledge the source.
-
It still amazes me that in the age of the iPod, vinyl record albums are so popular, and bands are releasing special vinyl (overpriced) packages.

Scott Ian and Pearl Aday on That Metal Show Pearl is the daughter of Meat Loaf and Leslie Aday.

I suppose that may be a first. I don't know all the technical aspects of every release, but I don't recall reading about an AUD source being used on an official release before.
-
So an AUD patch was used in the Dark Star on Road Trips Volume 1, Number 3. I wonder who the taper was? Some dude at Archive.org says it was Marty Weinberg.
-
I don't think I have listened to that album since then either.

I don't think I ever watched all of these: Mysteries of the Universe

As long as they don't play too many songs off the last album. I'd like to see them again myself.
