What's some of your favorite road trips you have been on?
Analogman replied to remphish1's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
When I was a kid, I spent a lot of travel time in one of those deals. We just went around the state though - mostly, to the mountains. -
There is at least one photo in the first volume of the taper's book that shows them, The Allman Brothers, and Fleetwood Mac all on stage together. Must be from the same run - that would have been cool to see.

That was before they were showing the ceremony on TV - but I guess footage has made it's way out there over the years. Mike Love made quite a speech at that one.

Video news report about the closing of the Winterland. The 12/31/1978 Grateful Dead show (Wolfgang's Vault link). Amazon has a bunch of copies of The Deadhead's Taping Compendium (Volume 1) for 39 bucks. I just picked up the second volume - from someone in my own state. Far out.

I see. I've never heard Mirror Ball - I have to buy it one of these days.

Not bad. Add some Ryan Adams in there.

We've done a Post 1980 NY thread before too.

Harvest Moon is that last new NY album I ever bought, and maybe, one of the last new releases I ever bought on cassette.

I was following this story - but I think I lost track of it. It must have something to do with the uncounted absentee ballots - or am I reading that wrong.
