The Illustrated Man (1969) The Who At Kilburn Also - picked this up tonight - it's not the greatest Who show(s) I have ever seen, but still, it's pretty cool. The Coliseum show is pretty dark, as it was not lighted for filming, whereas, the Kilburn show was professionally shot by Jeff Stein, so the film is magnificent, but the performance is a bit ragged.

I like the beginning more than the end. I am just not much of a Barlow lyric fan.

I am not always sure that I actually care for the song Weather Report Suite, but that pedal steel is great.

I have not seen the last season - or do I have the 2nd season. Sounds like a deal.

There are some great songs on that collection - I am rather fond of Seven Curses.

Amazon has Dylan boxsets for 25 bucks right now. The booklet that comes with Biograph is probably worth that much alone - a great read.

I've never grabbed any of them, but on another message board I am on, there is a thread about the work of Purple Chick and I have noticed that the torrents are usually put up at Demonoid.

Once again, I will recommend this book - The Complete Beatles Chronicle. You can find out all about the White Album recording sessions, and even the tracks that were left off - Not Guilty, and What's the New Mary Jane.

That song, co-written by Louis Gossett Jr., is probably a bit too militant for such things. I have always liked the spiritual power of that song.

These tracks have been around for quite a while. You can find FLAC files of this collection at various BT sites.

A lot of the reviews and talk of the album refer to the fact that some of the songs echo the music of Queen.
