  1. Oh - do you like his stuff? I think he's funny. Who's the other big dude? Ralphie May - I don't know if I dig his stuff all that much.
  2. That whole show can be found at The Trader's Den. I am getting it - it's big though - 11 GB.
  3. To samuel_70 and the other posters in this thread - the letter has been turned over to the admin/mod dudes of the board.
  4. I think I have seen photos of her - but never heard her. Is she like Amy Winehoser - a retro singer?
  5. I like the comedic stylings of this dude.
  6. I have read several times that Tom Petty has turned down millions of dollars with regards to commercial use of his songs. I suppose we shall see what happens in the future. I think someone said that the Wilco VW commercials were the same as videos - only they did not make the video - they just supplied the music. And that this sort of thing, as well as, placing songs in TV shows is the way things are done now - as opposed to the old way of someone paying a DJ to play a song, and/or making a video to be shown on MTV. I guess I can see the point - but still it seems funny to me.
  7. I ain't Captain Walker, but I can lead the children to the archives.
  8. Ok - I am going to give this to go go now and she can send it off to the Wilco management. Alright?
  9. There actually use to be a website that had all of that sort of thing listed - but it is gone. Maybe you want to contact the dude -his name on here is: rwin.nl
  10. Two threads, my friend. I think I am going to wait until they are all available and grab them all at the same time.
  11. Think positive - we are trying.
  12. I just got a BBC Gram Parsons documentary - looks pretty good so far. A lot of stuff about the family.
  13. I wonder if there is a way to email them and tell them they are wrong.
  14. Plus they got to watch Stevie Nicks twirl a baton while wearing suede platform boots.
  15. That - and they had the freedom to do whatever they wanted after the success of Rumors. I wonder if any of those dudes have ever sued for royalties?
  16. I actually have Mick Fleetwood's book - but I don't recall that he actually says why they did that. According to the Instant Replay liner notes, the Monkees cd that Tear Drop City is on, three studio dudes played guitar on that song.
  17. Suppose to be Neil Young - but I think they are wrong. He did play on some Head tracks - but I have never heard of him - or any of those names mentioned as playing on the song Tear Drop City. I will look at the cd booklet when I get home. I have all the rhino re-mastered Monkee cds. USC? Trojans Marching Band
