  1. That what they call rock and roll - and again, with the age thing.
  2. There are some interesting comments at the end of yesterday's taper section post.
  3. I grabbed a Billy Gibbons guitar magazine in the airport the other day - so now I have a desire to listen to ZZ Top. There is a documentary about him coming out - I would like to see that. I am listening to vinyl rips - mostly - as they are better than those fouled up cds. The last two rhino re-masters are from the original tapes - so that is a good thing.
  4. I saw a deal on the news the other day about how farmers out west are screwed because of the lack of immigrants - and the high cost/red tape involved on participating in the guest worker program.
  5. ZZ Top's First Album Rio Grande Mud Tres Hombres Fandango! Tejas Deguello
  6. I agree with that. We'll see what happens next year.
  7. It's up at Tape City - if you have an account there. and The Trader's Den and Oink
  8. I shop at Walmart all the time - as I have said before - where in the hell else are you going to get stuff? Target? K-Mart? They have the same shit - but at higher prices. Are family owned dept stores going to come back/open up downtown so I can buy stuff from them? I doubt it.
  9. My cdr of this is fouled - can anyone else put a nice rip up of this album for Mr. Ross?
  10. As being the best or the one most desired.
  11. aka Wings Over America I wish he would put out that whole film on dvd.
  12. He should stick to shredding - and cut out the yapping.
  13. Bethel Woods I did not know about this until a friend of Ms. Viatroy's told me about it last night. Last I heard, the site was a horse farm - and was going to be turned into condominiums. I would like to check out that museum.
  14. They do that at Sam's Club also - it does not seem to me that they look very closely.
  15. That's a live album - if I was home I would send it to you. They actually began making records in 1972.
  16. That's the one they ended up in the sad lawsuit over.
  17. I think the groove or driving beat deal made me think of Pearl Jam for some odd reason.
