  1. That's a trip. I also have an original pressing of Who Came First. I found it at a junk shop years ago.
  2. I guess old Pete wants people to buy these again: I wonder if this round will have the same stuff as the Rhino/Hip-O Records versions. I think the version I have of Who Came First is the Rykodisc release from the early 1990s. Scoop 3 is probably the only one I will get. I never bought it the first time around.
  3. I have a Big Jim action figure right behind me on a shelf. Not the one I had though - someone gave it to me about 15 years ago. I am curious to see Amazon's version of The Man In The High Castle.
  4. I know this as I was looking for the one I had last night. Not usually my thing - but I watched The Fall on Netflix recently. Now I am watching The Killing.
  5. You can buy one on Ebay for 250 bucks now.
  6. I don't know why the Esquire Network is running old shows from the 70s - but I like it.
  7. The Six Million Dollar Man (The Secret of Bigfoot part 1) This episode originally aired on my 10th birthday.
  8. Another pre-Experience release (officially released this time): You Can't Use My Name - The RSV/PPX Sessions
  9. That's odd. You would think Chris would not be like that. Sounds like the shit that went down in RATT or some other metal band.
  10. It's amazing the number of bands he played with: Beatles, Stones, Kinks, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Jeff Beck, Quicksilver Messenger Service, etc.
  11. Physical Graffiti re-release information (by way of Amazon.co.uk): (February 23?)
  12. That's what I have read - that he didn't really want to do it. I have the cd of the show. I think I saw the concert on Youtube or somewhere a while back.
  13. Here's a thread with links to other threads about what shows to get: Best bootleg/live concert
  14. I knew they were pretty popular - but I didn't know they played in places that big. Maybe it's due to the cost that U2 is not playing stadiums.
  15. I was thinking of actual rock bands.
  16. I wonder if they could sell out stadiums anymore? (Off the top of my head - I think only the Rolling Stones or Bruce could still do that.) Although I have listened to U2 since about 1981, I have never got to see the band. Someday.
  17. It almost sounded to me as if Nick Frost called the Doctor "Peter" in the scene where they are all holding hands.
  18. There are 4 seeders on the 2nd source and 2 seeders on the 1st source. I think the problem is on your end. You may be able to connect eventually.
  19. John Entwistle: Is There Life After The Who I don't think I have seen this before. I am guessing it was filmed around 1985 or so. After watching this you can see why he went broke more than once.
  20. I probably feel the opposite. At least from the trailers I have seen.
  21. I spent a lot of time several years ago tracking down the re-masters of With A Little Help From My Friends and Joe Cocker !. Two really great albums. I guess he had some health problems over the past several years.
  22. I love that movie. Dr. Dealgood's dialogue is awesome.
  23. I have that Playing In The Band book. It is a bunch of interviews and quotes arranged to fit certain topics. I bought it back in the early 1990s I think. I have not read the Conversations book.
  24. I wonder if this new book will be in the same format as Playing In The Band or maybe it will along the lines of that Allman Brothers book?
