That's the story I have always read.
-
That's right. It was in Georgia. The Fillmore Concerts cover (1992 - which is what I have) features a different photo and is in color - not black and white.

Duane is holding a bag of cocaine in his hands. That is why they are laughing.

That photo always cracks me up - since I heard the story behind it. How is the booklet?

For most of the past summer I have watched Last Tango in Halifax on PBS. I can't figure out if it is a dark comedy or some sort of British soap opera. I am not even sure I was all that much into the show. I also happened to catch the preview for The Roosevelts: An Intimate History. Apparently, Ken Burns also has the following in the works: a film about Vietnam, a film about Jackie Robinson, and a film about country music. Also - just began watching Torchwood. I didn't know the show was so - how shall we say - adult themed.

I can see them doing something like that someday. I saved playing the new LZ III until today for some odd reason. It sounds really clear. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant: How We Made Led Zeppelin III (Probably nothing new - if you know all the stories by now)

Ryan doing Wharf Rat: Ryan Adams - Wharf Rat (acoustic)

I am sort of joking. But I think he often claims he does not have a lot of live tapes.
-
Of course, there is so much live stuff out there to be had. Maybe that is another reason he is skipping over the live stuff. Or maybe they plan on doing some more live releases in the future. If they can find the multi-track masters.
-
I read that somewhere. I'd like to see more live stuff on the bonus discs. But I guess Jimmy would say they don't have the multi-track masters.
-
I wonder if it will come out around Christmas time. And then the rest in the new year.

Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of The Holy re-master information:

Yes, she has played with Jeff Beck off and on for the past several years.

Trigger Hippy album release date: (Audley Freed plays guitar on the album.)

You have to wonder why Lucinda Williams gets paid less. It's a strange world.
-
I just read that Tal Wilkenfeld played bass on the album. I wonder how he ever met her.

The page is up for Dave's Picks Volume 11: 11/17/1972

Just think of all the money spent on lawsuits over those tracks since the 1960s. I think I have some of those that I got on cassette back in the 1980s. Some of those songs (from that era) are on West Coast Seattle Boy: The Jimi Hendrix Anthology (2010).

I guess now it is not going to be a limited run:

I figured Janie would buy those tracks some day:

I believe you are correct. I think RAA turned into a Facebook page where people try and sell Ryan Adams promo albums. It's a damn shame - is what it is.

That is a great song. I guess they are down on the last one. I have not listened to it in a long time. -
That's my favorite Jerry guitar sound - along with the SG era.
