Very similar to the Missoula setlist already.... hmmm. I wonder if they will do sometime special because it's such a big crowd or stick to mostly hits and new songs?

It sounds pretty damn good to me! Dawned into War. So stoked!

Obviously... The nipples question is a priority for me.

(Bm) Of anything (Dm) that I've (A) done (Dm) The second Dm is the part on the record where you here two claps. But instead of clapping (obviously hard to do while playing the guitar) you play that Dm in the same rhythm. (Here) is a video where you can see it pretty well. Hope that helped.

Tweedy also played a solo version of Sunloathe this year at the Vic. But I'm not sure if that really counts... I mean if I had been there it would count but I wasn't... So it doesn't. Either way I'm stumped by why they didn't play and songs from W(TA) for seven shows. There must be a reason. One of the great mysteries of life I guess...

My tweedy sarcasm meter was on... he was being serious. And again this is just what we heard, I have no idea why it was like that. My guess is that it is similar to when Conan O'Brien was off air for a year and was contracted to not appear on television for a full year. Obviously not the same, but similar. If someone can give me more evidence to a better reason why they would avoid this album entirely (and saying it is their worst album doesn't count because if you have read any interview with the band ever you would know that they like W(TA) a lot more than some of you do) I'm all ears. That it is... it is also the theme to "That 70's Show"

My friend and I attended the first 5 shows of the summer tour. After five sound checks and four shows with songs ranging from every album (and even a cover of the theme song to "That 70's Show" sung by John in the Missoula sound check) except Wilco (The Album) we decided to take matters into our own hands. We wrote a not reading "Wilco (The Album)...?" and sat at the front right where Jeff could see us. He saw the sign and said (out of the microphone so I don't think anyone else heard it) "It's contractual. We don't have time to explain." I figured this meant that since they switched record la

I just saw the band play this live last night and was right in front of Jeff. It seems to be 100% accurate except for the part after he goes 'OH OH!' the chords in there change a round a little bit. But other than that this tab sounds good to me.

Please let there be a surprise live album!

Going both nights. Driving from Sun Valley, Idaho! Then following them all the way to Missoula. SO EXCITED!

First of I threw this together pretty quick because I'm lazy so if this makes no sense let me know and I'll put more time into it. So it is tuned to DADADD and the whole thing is basically going in between these chords: D9 - 000320 D - 000540 Dsus2? - 000750 D2 (it really is just D but for tabbing purposes we will call it D2) - 000970 Intro - ---------------0---- ---------------2---- ---------------3---- ---------------0---- ---------------0---- -0-2s4-0----0---- Play that twice and you kind of strum back and forth between the D9 chord and the sliding on the low D, if you liste

Martin And Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy Announce New Custom Guitar
Andrew McKean replied to Bosco's topic in Solid State Technology
Hey Bosco, Any chance you could hate that guitar and sent it to me? That would be great! Uh, I want one so badly! -
I have the solo pretty well figured out from the live version if you wanted me to tab it out. It is played in open D tuned DADADD.
-
I'm so glad that someone filmed it. Such a good song.

Here it is. I think I got most of it figured out from watching this video from one of the recent vic shows ( ). The solo section I'm not really sure about, but what I have sounds... okay I guess. Either way it's a great song. http://www.martinguitar.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&Itemid=88&id=949 Oh boy! So B-E-A-UTIFUL! -
Well based on the video this is almost exactly what Jeff plays, I am not musical enough to really do it any other way.
-
All that musical mumbo jumbo is still really new to me. Thanks.

This is what I've got, couldn't figure out the instrumental at the end... let me know if you think this is more accurate or any changes that should be made. Thanks! It's all filmed in Sun Valley. Shot over four days, about all the snow we got this year.

Wasn't really sure where to put this so I'll just put it here. This is an edit I made of me skiing and thought people would appreciate the music. Check it out, share it, make my sponsors happy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XOVQGaufx0
