Don't kick yourself too hard. I tried getting tix the minute they went on sale and could never get anything. I'm going to have to suck it up and pay more than I want, but I really want to see this tour.

A good amount of complaining about the full Star Wars treatment over on FB in the comments under Wilco's set list post. For me, I'd be happy to see SW or anything else they want to play, as I have no Wilco shows on my calendar.

They did an official release of the full show last year in conjunction with the Spring '90 box. A keeper.

Agree with all that, especially the Bonnie Prince Billy tracks, of whom I had not heard of before this release. His version of Ruben and Cherise is sweet. I'm liking the D2 run of Mountains of the Moon, Dark Star, Nightfall of Diamonds, Transitive Refraction, Playin. The 2 tracks by Orchestra Baobab really stand out: Clementine Jam and Franklin's.

Sunday night's Phil and Friends show is sounding freaking great to me. I wasn't there, but I'm loving this show. Phil, Warren, Krasno, Melvin, Tony Leone...

Me too. As a big fan, I'm disappointed I don't like her contribution. Have I already noted I can't listen to the version of Black Peter?

I don't think you will find it to be much different on the album. Which is fine by me as I very much like her take.

Bobby's slide never didn't annoy the heck out of me

I've had my box for a few days now. Slowly working my way through it. So many excellent tracks: Touch, Dew, FOTD, Box, Courtney's take on New Speedway!, Wilco/Weir on St. Stephen, The National/Weir in Rider. So much still to hear. So far the only cut I really did not like is Black Peter, that is terrible.

I also started digging into the July '78 box. Another top notch production of music and packaging. Only through the first disc of the first show. Very happy to have it. Day of the Dead also came the same day, and I've been listening to a few tracks off that. Also excellent. Anyone else get it?

Like I've written before, it was billed as Fare Thee Well, as the last performance together of the 4 surviving members. Which it has been. I guess that's like reading the fine print. But did folks think they were going to stop playing GD music in some configuration?
