  1. Those clips played on Saturday Sessions were excellent. Really like the collection of new songs, and the instrumentation fits them well. Good for Bobby. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. My daughter's favorite band, she saw them in NYC last night, and then ran into them in her office building today!
  3. Oh no, my mistake. My eyes saw "Corrina" and my brain read "Victim." I take that back. I'm not a huge Corrina fan, but it did get places. Sorry, obviously didn't have enough caffeine yet when I posted that.
  4. Weir on Colbert last night. Really good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qnuA7UHTA4
  5. That's all I'm saying, it's not among my favorite Replacement songs. I'm certainly not complaining about anything about that show.
  6. ^ I loved the covers show, one of the most fun shows I've been at for any band, but I agree about the Replacements selection.
  7. Monday, on Morning Joe just now Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Well that answers my question. It's coming back to me now.
  9. What happened there? Is Squire playing in some other version of Yes with Howe? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I was thinking the same, the audio on this 9/2 recording is amazing. The clarity is perfect. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. So now we have the Hold the Date announcement, next question is when, and how, will they announce the lineup? Was it SS'15 they announced the lineup alphabetically? Was that on Facebook? That's the only announcement "event" I recall. Anyone recall how the other lineups were announced? I hope they have some fun and games prepared for this one.
  12. Hoist and Billy Breathes are the 2 studio albums that do the most for me. Other than those 2, 99% of my Phish listening is live shows. Probably like most Phish fans.
  13. Pitchfork review. Some highlights (or should that be lowlights ) http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/22451-big-boat/ "Big Boat is at times overwrought and half-assed, gratingly silly and embarrassingly self-serious, both tedious and underwhelming. In other words, it’s a new Phish album. " "In “Friends,” the dumb-as-rocks, vaguely triumphant opening number, drummer Jon Fishman forecasts the coming of the Lord, descending upon the Earth in “some fiery fashion.”" "Even still, the lowest points of Big Boat manage to sink lower than just being bad-for-Phish; Big Boat is made even worse by
  14. Just got this email from Kung Fu: "We received your recent Wilco order. We regret to inform you that the item was on the site by mistake. It was used for testing an upcoming promotion but since it is not live yet, we canceled your order and refunded any associated costs. We apologize for any inconvenience. Stay tuned for Wilco sales!"
  15. Thanks for the tip, order placed! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Outtafuckingsight! I've had my room booked since August. My daughter's getting married next summer, I've been holding my fingers crossed it was going to be this June weekend and not August! Wooohooo!
  17. I watched that last night. I just can't get over how much I love this album, from start to finish: the music, the lyrics, the spirit of it all.
  18. Hah! Those pina coladas will do that to you
  19. It truly is a perfect album for our time. Can't stop listening. And reading the lyrics and Hood's written intro. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. I was thinking of going back to the After the Show topics and weeding through to see if there's one standout show from each of the 2 cities. Don't know when I'll have time to do that.
  21. Selling each city as individual shows and as a bundle
  22. Tweet from Wilco that Roadcase releases from Seattle and LA shows are posted in the store.
  23. Love these guys Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
