  1. Good scoring on Stub Hub! I always seem to pay above face on Stub Hub. I think I don't have the patience (or calmness) to wait till day of for a show I really want to se.
  2. An Evening With Tedeschi Trucks Band Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Lodge seats (like the 4 row mezzanine section in the Orpheum in Boston) have their pluses and minuses. The sound is perfect, you get the full PA's. Being up front in the orchestra, while great for visuals, can provide less than ideal sound mix. The rows tend to have more slope, so better visuals despite who is in front of you. The crowd tends to sit rather than stand. That's either a plus or a negative depending on your point of view. I like to stand and be able to dance, but always grab mezz seats in the Orpheum for the excellent sound quality. My wife and I were sitting center mezz in the Or
  4. Finally got some Saturdays. Nothing great but I grabbed them
  5. Anyone have any Beacon luck today? I can't get anything for Saturday
  6. Tomorrow is not a pre-sale, it is the regular TM on-sale. Shouldn't need a password.
  7. Starting a 3 night run here at the Orpheum. I'm going tonight w/Jorma, and then Saturday it's An Evening With. JRAD tomorrow at HOB. A nice 3 night run for me.
  8. Been searching for a pair for Saturday since the moment the pre-sale opened. Not a whiff of even bad seats. Will try again Friday.
  9. Nothing available for me for Saturday from the moment it opened
  10. Nice! I listened yesterday. My wife and daughter hated the Runaway Jam, too much jamming, not their cup of tea. I loved it. Fortunately my wife recovered and still goes to Phish shows with me every year.
  11. Probably of no significance to anyone but me, but today is the 19th anniversary of the Runaway Jam show in Worcester. The longest single song performance. We went as a family outing, my son was 7, my daughter 10 and my wife. First Phish show for all of them. Still remembered for the guy next to my son shaking his dirty dreadlocks in his face all night And for the shit show of a scene outside getting into the Centrum doors, which def freaked my kids a little. Don't know if my daughter ever saw Phish again, but my son and wife certainly logged many more after that night. http://www.jambase.c
  12. You know I would consider taking you up on that, even though I never heard of either (which is why I'm taking the under), but already catching 3 straight nights of shows Thurs-Sat, can't possibly make it out Sunday night. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I'll hold onto the hope with the fact that they first announced SS at the Orpheum in March. So it's possible...
  14. I was waiting for your list. The Las Vegas over/under on how many of your bands I will have even heard of, let alone have heard, is 8. We went to the Who show, and I know you were at the Wilco/Orpheum shows. I think I'm going with the under.
  15. Aaah, sorry about that. No disrespect to our northern friends, I was so focused on the Beacon shows I didn't really look elsewhere.
  16. Hoping for some Boston shows, but will plan on making the trip down to the Beacon for at least 1.
  17. Saw a bunch of shows so far, most of which were "favorites" but these of particular note: Lettuce at HOB-Boston Wilco-3 shows in 4 nights was probably the highligt of the year for me: one at State Theater, Portland and two at the Orpheum Isbell at HOB The Who-first time for me, cross that off my bucket list. That was always a big hole in my rock n roll resume Drive By Truckers in Providence Beach House at HOB Lucinda at the Paradise JazzFest, second weekend-all of it but of particular note was Neil in the rain, MMJ, and Los Lobos/Tab Benoit at night at Republic Monsters of Funk, or whateve
  18. Starting a 2017 topic, as Wilco just announced a string of U.S. dates for March, including a 4 night run at the Beacon Theater, March 18-9 and 21-22. All dates up on Wilcoworld, pre-sale starts Wednesday..
  19. Had time home alone today, so spent some time with the '73 Winterland box. Could be my favorite of all the box sets they've put out. A peak year, and the HDCD's sound sterling. I popped in D9, 1973-11-11, the final disc of the 3 night run. A 35 minute Dark Star to start, the notes just rolling off a band sounding so relaxed and inside the music. Everything on this disc has the vibe of a Sunday night, relaxed, confident, on top of their game (with the exception of the start to SSDD). You can pull any disc out of this box and have yourself a treat. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
