  1. still looking for a single for Sunday at the Beacon. PM me if you've got it.
  2. Spent some time with an old friend this morning. The Dark Star>Other One>Lovelight sequence from 2-13-70 Fillmore East. It was a very nice reunion
  3. On and On, Say You Miss Me, Magazine, Reservations, Monday (!), Bull Black Nova. Hope nobody left complaining about the setlist Can't wait for the Beacon
  4. As opposed to a multi-night run in the same city, where the band assumes most of the audience is different from night to night, it's a captive audience at SS. Wonder if Friday will be a special show.
  5. The XRT stream worked beautifully, so thanks to Wilco and XRT for making that possible. Of course, it doesn't replace Being There, but made for great night in our home for my wife and me. I have tons of Roadcases, but there's something different about listening live while it's happening, especially as the live feed includes much more of the audience energy than the soundboard releases do. Loved the show. I've come to accept the structure of the shows, hey they have 2 new albums to play. My only problem with Wilco shows is there's never a bathroom song
  6. Happens every show. I give it a few minutes, and then just lean in and ask the talkers to "turn down the volume." They usually get the hint and shut up. I used to be more antagonistic, but found that this simple request works without inciting push back.
  7. Love RNG! The build up and breakdown at the end will knock me off my couch
  8. Sunken Treasure, Lonely One, Theologians, Shouldn't Be Ashamed!
  9. Yeah, BT and S/T are my usual Wilco favorites. Shot in the Arm and Via Chicago are still in regular rotation, and She's A Jar will pop up from time to time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Picked up Prisoner today, just finished a beginning to end listen. I am definitely pretty blown away, such an intense breakup record. And sonically, it sounds amazing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. The set lists have been fairly structured for over a year now. Whether it was the Star Wars tour, or now the Schmilco tour, I'd say the majority of the show is the same from night to night, with a handful or so different tunes that get slotted in, almost on alternating nights. These first 2 shows are holding true to form. I'm definitely not complaining about any of this, I still do whatever I can to catch consecutive shows. Wish I was in Chicago, but looking forward to the Beacon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Looking for a good single seat for Sunday at the Beacon. Please PM me if you've got it. Thanks.
  13. I just got off the phone with TM about my Beacon tix. I have 3 separate orders for Saturday. None of them are available for print at home. I want physical tickets since others will be using 2 of my orders. After the interminable menu system and hold for a real person, I had them mail my orders to me, at $3.50 a pop.
  14. If anyone doesn't have this box, stop whatever you're doing and order it!
  15. Yup, Paste Magazine has "29" ranked #16 out of 16. https://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2017/02/ranking-ryan-adams-16-records.html
  16. I don't do eBay, but my buddy says the first May '77 box is going for $500 unopened.
  17. I got my order in. Was listening to my Buffalo show the other day (which I understood to be a Betty Board) and was reminded of the audience splice in the middle of the big rave up in Music Never Stopped. Wonder if what they recovered includes the full soundboard version. I don't recall Dave saying anything about that in his seaside chat.
  18. The new May '77 box sold out. Seems quick, but I don't know how that compares to previous sets.
