1. There's nothing about Gregg's statement that is a straight out denial of the initial report. Who knows. I hope for the best.
2. Perhaps rumors of Gregg's demise are greatly exaggerated: https://www.jambase.com/article/gregg-allman-issues-note-after-manager-denies-hospice-report
3. Another giant about to fall. Just this weekend, in paying tribute to Butch, Trey called Gregg "the best singer ever in rock n roll" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTbo-xXrnuM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTbo-xXrnuM
4. Yup. I think the official release is the same as the unofficial release that has circulated for years. Except the audio is amazing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
5. Having a bit of a GD weekend. My wife was away, so I took the opportunity last night to blast Sunshine Daydream through the system for the first time in a while. I'm not all that interested in the old acid tests sound and videos interspersed throughout. But the pure concert footage and audio is outstanding. There's a reason this show is so highly regarded (I still have the Dupree's issue with the cover story calling this the greatest GD show of them all). Made for a great late Saturday night. There could have been some of Colorado's finest chocolates involved. Today, its Dave Pick's 17- Se
6. Trying that Kurt Vile link again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd0K76H7sU8
7. The unboxing of the new May '77 set, looking pretty sweet https://youtu.be/HkS-R87kmkw
8. I don't know his songbook all that well, but for me it's Wakin On A Pretty Day, and everything else. https://youtu.be/bd0K76H7sU8%C2%A0 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
9. Looking forward to getting my hands on this one, the last of the late fall FM broadcast shows (unless I'm forgetting they did multiple nights at the FF). A great little tour. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

11. What catches my eye? Jeff solo acoustic, from the Loft. It all catches my eye.
12. Love the idea (I already responded to the FB survey). One thought: you suggest everyone wear their shirt for the Friday night show. Would it be better to suggest Saturday, as most folks will be on site for all or most of Saturday and more easily identified? Lots of folks, myself included, will be pulling in late afternoon/early evening on Friday. Just a thought.
13. I never got the digital download of Laminated Cat with my vinyl pre-order. Anyone else have an issue getting that?
14. I was wondering when your photos would show up! Great spending time with you at Brown Sugar. We all really liked the show. I skipped them last time through Boston, glad to have caught at show on this tour, like the current album a lot. You're right, Farrar just doesn't age. I want what he's got!
15. That's good to hear. I'm not a Wolf fan, and I thought he was an odd choice for SS. This is encouraging.
16. So much for SS '17. It was always an alternate fact.
17. Daily schedule announced: https://twitter.com/SolidSoundFest/status/850002021621039105
18. Exactly my thought! Hope to see you there. Will be at Brown Sugar before if you want to catch up for some dinner.
19. Great! I am in such need of a show.
20. Well, just to clear my name here, I am a casual Social D fan, so please don't put me in the "douche bag" category! I am not close enough to the band's scene or fans to have any opinion on what goes on there, but I've listened to/seen a lot of punk rockabilly over the years and don't agree with the blanket characterization. Anyhow, I've always liked Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll, Hard TImes and Nursery Rhymes and other releases including Ness' solo Cheating at Solitaire, and always had fun seeing them. So I'll just keep on with the occasional listening and seeing them and take the douche bag sl
21. I'm not going to be ashamed to stand up and say I've always liked Social D. Like their albums, like their shows. So there you have it.
22. Love that shot Tim! I don't know if this qualifies as a "memory," but the other thing I love about the first SS are the two Tinnitus Photography photos framed and hanging in my office with the SS booklet.
