  1. Been listening to this repeatedly since I got back. What a great night. Thank you so much for making this available.
  2. Damn, I was waiting for a Spiders all weekend! After it didn't appear for the two Wilco shows, I was hoping for a Tweedy solo acoustic version. Oh well, I've got nooooooooooo complaints.
  3. I also got to enjoy the Berkshire Bourbon. That bar was a good find. JamBase review. The writer doesn't like the venue too much. I beg to differ on that , as I figure most here will as well. http://www.jambase.com/Articles/125629/Review-and-Photos-Wilco-Solid-Sound-Festival-North-Adams
  4. Yes PopQuiz, that bar by Euclid Records was a great find! Loved the Berkshire Bourbon. Today's NY Times chimes in, with a good sense of Solid Sound: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/30/arts/music/wilco-tinkers-and-experiments-at-a-festival-its-happy-to-share.html?ref=arts&_r=0
  5. Great work Tim. Some particularly great Wilco photos caught my eye. I think I'm going to have to clear some wall space, those 2010 photos could use a companion.
  6. JamBase reporting in, and picked up the Harvest Moon video posted by yours truly. http://www.jambase.com/Articles/125616/Video-Jeff-and-Spencer-Tweedy-At-Solid-Sound-Low-Key
  7. I agree! More Solid Sound. That is great. Nice shot. Just teasing the full gallery?
  8. Lots of flubs in Summer Teeth, which I particularly noticed since I banged the request box pretty hard for that one!
  9. Just a few comments. I used the "burrito" only as a point of reference. Friday night, there was no line shorter than 45-60 minutes for any food, other than the bratwurst vendor (I don't know why, I love bratwurst!). Just so happened my wife chose to get a burrito, but would have been the same regardless. I appreciate the suggestions about outside the venue, but these food lines were unlike years past. On Saturday afternoon, my wife went to get some rain gear from the car and there was a food vendor truck parked right outside, running a fundraising operation for Shriner's Hospital, there w
  10. Yes, the beer selection was great, particularly the Summerteeth, and there was never a hassle getting a beer. The food was a complete shitshow though. My wife got on site Friday around 7:30, was hungry and missed seeing all of Real Estate (other than what she could hear in the food court) waiting in line for food. And that never changed over the weekend, until after Tweedy ended yesterday and I could get a burrito without waiting in a line! So next time if they're going to sell 9,000 tickets, need to improve the food game. Other than that, had a blast. Especially liked getting my book autog
  11. SS '15 did not disappoint. Each Wilco/Tweedy show was top notch. I came away very impressed with Real Estate, would see them anytime. Only negative note was the constant long lines for food. More people this year, but waiting an hour to get a burrito is not cool. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Great Sunday afternoon show. Tweedy band sounded awesome. As did Mr. Jeff solo, and with all the friends. Perfect. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I will also comment about the sound. At each SS I am simply amazed how crystal clear the sound is. In the open air, subject to wind and all the elements. For every Joe's Field set I've been in the sweet spot about 20 feet in front of the board. Always perfect sound.
  14. Heading home now. Agree with all the comments. Jeff promised they would "bring the rock." Made good on that and then some. There must be a separate topic for today's finale, wow, what a way to finish.
  15. Yes but with everyone wearing rain gear how is Tim going to shoot the SS '15 Wilco tee shirt collection?
  16. Steven Hyden on Jason Isbell, with commentary by Jason himself http://grantland.com/hollywood-prospectus/the-most-gut-wrenching-jason-isbell-songs-with-guest-commentary-by-jason-isbell/
  17. I am trying, unsuccessfully, to not let it deflate my energy in the run up to SS. But after 2 years of waiting for the return of SS, and after all this dry weather, I just want to scream.
  18. Great! Thanks for sharing, I missed that one.
  19. I hate to be a bummer, but the weather forecast is worsening. Bring your rain gear. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=42.70014807357586&lon=-73.20896846142455&site=all&smap=1#.VYsQSVI-Yg4
  20. The cover of Cannonball by the Breeders is pretty sweet http://www.onionstudios.com/videos/courtney-barnett-covers-the-breeders-2301
  21. Well, if I've already been obsessed with CB and her music over the last couple of months, her stock has now risen even higher in my book. This entire broadcast rings true to me, starting with the cross-generational appeal of her music. I started taking my kids to shows when they were 9 and 7. In a "what goes around comes around" way, a few months ago, my now 25 year old son emailed me the he had gotten a drop of the new CB album and he strongly recommended I check it out. He also sent me a link to the Steven Hyden piece on her on Grantland. I was sold. Quickly got the double EP and Sometim
