There's a fantastic Half Step from Broome County arena, Binghampton, either fall '77 or fall '78, I always forget which. Probably my favorite version. That entire first set is a mind blower how good it is.

Very good piece. For a number of years, they were my best band in the land. Recently watched Stopped Making Sense again, which brought all that back for me. Interesting he can't identify Byrne by name. Doesn't seem like there's been any lessening of the bitterness.

The fact that I'm sitting on a Beacon ticket and they don't say anything about new dates or refund while Gregg is healthy enough to play this weekend is starting to piss me off. Count me among the over 50 crowd who wants to have physical media, either cd or vinyl. Heck, I bought a new CD player and turntable last year. Those Rhino GD HDCD releases sound freakin fantastic on a CD player that has a HDCD decoder.

I recently got the Japanese import version of the special edition Brothers and Sisters. The live show from Winterland is excellent. Chuck Leavell is awesome. I saw that era band at the Nassau Coliseum ( they released that show also, crappy recording). Moving to today's news, Trey played with them last night at Wanee. I imagine that melted some faces.

Sold out already? I didn't even have a chance to think about getting it.

I love Television, wrote one of the great songs of all time, but don't think they had enough output to warrant inclusion. Same with Joy Division. I'm no fan of metal (to put it mildly), so have no comment on those bands on the list. I'll leave that to Mr. Tinnitus.
