thanks dude...i'm sure it'll be great. i know a lot of people who would like a new al tuck record. have you heard 33/13 (aka - my blues away) if not...seriously, it's fantastic. in my opinion, it's the best al tuck record there is to date. let me tell you though. the new songs are sounding sweet. i've had the pleasure of playing them with him over the last few days and they are great. very al, lyrically. i like mr elkas quite a lot. he's due for a new album too. later dennis

I am playing a show with Al tomorrow night in Toronto at Clinton's. My band is playing and I am also sitting with Al for his set...Ben Gunning, formerly of the Local Rabbits is also on the bill. Then this coming weekend we are taking it to the studio for what will hopefully be a new al tuck record. al and joel are two of the best songwriters in Canada...plain and simple. also, i haven't read anything further that this in this thread but in case it hasn't been mentioned yet, Wilco are playing Halifax and Fredericton in July...the promoter leaked the info on certain web boards in eastern C
